Favourite panellist David Mitchell, but that's more for the Nazi Uniform sketch than in-show.
Favourite moment: Q1: How did Stephen jay Gould make his millions? A: By prooving that fish don't exist. Q2 How many fish in this picture? Alan Davies: None, because fish don't exist. Klaxons blair. They admit that they are makin it up as they go along.

Liberty! Equality! Fraternity! My favorite panelist is Alan Davies. How I have grown to love him through watching this show! He's unbelievably funny and kind of adorable.
Here's another funny moment:
I love whenever Phill Jupitus gets pissed off at QI.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Stephen: "Now, tell me about the Great Disappointment."
Jo Brand: "Have you been talking to my husband?"
<klaxon blares>

With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars. My favourite ever klaxon answer is Piers Morgan coming up when the panellists were asked to name a poisonous snake. Brilliant.
I also quite like Stephen breaking Johnny Vegas:
I adore this show. I've been missing the episodes recently, but fortunately the ABC iView keeps it up for two weeks after the Australian broadcast.
My favourite QI panellists are Rob Brydon, Jimmy Carr, Sean Lock, and of course, Alan Davies. Davies makes a good team with Bill Bailey as well. Favourite moment would be hard to pick, but the discussion of "Hullo", and the imitations of Stephen Fry in Japan are up there.

"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajI'll make you a deal British people: you give us the syndication rights to QI so we can put it on BBC, and we'll give copies of new episodes of The Venture Brothers to premiere at the same time as we do.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Actually, they've tried to sell QI to BBC America, but they don't think Americans will "get it". Because Executives Are Morons. (Why is that not a trope yet?)
There's also the issue of photo licensing. Those huge screens in the back? All those images are paid for.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.I'm a fan of the show, even if it's been a while since I watched it, so "favourite moments" is hard to do.
I also love this show, it's my second favourite comedy panel show. And a couple of years ago comedy panel shows were just about the only TV I was watching. My favourite guest panelists are Mitchell, Brydon and Lock, but to be honest I'm tempted to list 90% of the people who've ever been on.
As for favourite moments, I don't think there's a single episode that doesn't have at least one great moment. But at the same time none of them are as memorable as some of the best bits of HIGNFY. So ... Brydon and Bailey arguing about their local recycling facilities. That was good.
Am I a good man or a bad man?Heh, the last episode (Episode 2) made me laugh a fair bit: especially Bailey tricking his way into three points, and Mitchell getting slammed with three consecutive klaxons.

New episode tonight.
they say of the acropolis remains my favourite moment from the show
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyThough this is a close second:
Love the show. Showing on Beeb 2 just now, don't know if it is a repeat or not. If it is, I don't care, it is just that good. My fave panelist is Alan. Puir wee cratur, as some of us up here in Bonnie Scotland would say. Butt Monkey would be a kind way to describe the way he is treated.
Easily the best panel show on TV. Alan Davies is brilliant.
Having no televised access to Q.I., I've watched bits of it on You Tube, but recently I just said "to hell with it" and downloaded the first 8 series. I've been watching them obsessively, but I think the sheer volume of this consumption is preventing me from remembering a lot of the banter.
Still, I enjoyed the "Luvvie Alert" forfeit presented to John Sessions (and later to Stephen!). Jimmy Carr's epic anagram blew my mind, of course. Also, the little snippet Alan sings in this video got stuck in my head for quite a while. I still haven't listened to the real version because I like Alan's too much.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."...Okay, that was amazing.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."Just want to chime in and say that this is the best show on television right now.
Okay, the QI thread has only one page so far after so many seasons..? Something needs to be done!
I'm just here now, and soon I'll be goneHow about you British types actually post something?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.We could try to get a discussion going...
- So.. Jimmy Carr's anagram.. that had to have been prepared beforehand, right? Considering how many other times he uses that exact same joke? Though it's still one of my favourite moments from the series.
- I've so far checked out a lot of Bill Bailey's, Rich Hall's Jimmy Carr's and stand up shows, any other guests that you would recommend checking out further?
- Any good recommendations for places to pick up weird trivia about things besides QI?
Wikipedia? XKCD?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.^^He stole some letters from his neighbour in that episode.

All right, now that series I has just started, I think it's about time. I know there are some QI devotees hiding around here. Time to come out of the woodwork!
To start off with, what's your favorite moment in the show? And who's your favorite panelist?
I'll begin with a classic moment:
