Strangely enough I've never hear any, anyone know of some?

Just in case you don't know, dreamtime is less a historic era as such and more of a mystic spiritual realm.

I thought it was just their spin on "that time in the past when things were far more visibly consistent with the myths". I mean, I was under the impression from the stories that the kangaroo getting his tail or Tiddalik drinking all the water happened long, long before The White Man came and that no person who actually might have seen it was alive any time recently. I am not really sure the Dreamtime (as far as it refers to the mythical era of creation and the like) has much to do with the afterlife at all.

It's... kind of hard to explain, time isn't really seen as a linear.

Dreamtime is the origin of Just So Stories, but there is a Dreamtime not there was a Dreamtime.

Is that in the same sense that there still is a 1999...?

I don't know, I mean, I only really know what was shoved down my throat in primary school, but it always seemed to me that the Dreamtime was roughly equivalent to a lot of other religions' concepts, like how the Ancient Greeks didn't really expect to see satyrs running about raping everything or the Egyptians don't claim to have actually been around when the big boss of the gods was "reproducing". I guess for a believer, it'd be like "this stuff happened and is real, it's just not around us" or something to that effect.

It is, but Dreamtime isn't in the past in the same way last thursday is. Dreamtime has no start or finish. Dreamtime is eternal.

I'm probably doing a bad job at expressing it :S

I get the idea, but I have never heard it specifically put as such before.
