The only thing I can think of is the panels from "Ramadan" in The Sandman where, as Haroun al-Rashid is making his way through his castle, the background info is talking about him passing the room where the castle's architects are buried, with the note that "it is seldom healthy to know the secrets of a king", but that would probably work just as well as a page quote.
