It may actually make things slightly easier for Becky if Toedad has dragged Dina along, especially if cops or concerned bystanders intervene. Hard to deny being a violent nutcase when you're visibly dragging a yelling kidnap victim with you everywhere you go. (Plus, I wouldn't want to turn my back on an angry Dina.)

Dina got the boot all to herself and now will have to search for tools to untie herself and come out of the trunk.

As far I am concerned, that makes him better then Blaine. That is an extremely low bar, sure, but at last his sees his family as more than just property to be controlled.

Now I'm more worried about Toedad than anyone to be honest.

I'm curious about the context of the "Satan took your mother from me" bit.

Could be anything.

She died of illness.

She had an argument with a husband who owns a shotgun.

She disagreed with how he runs his family and left him.

She disagreed with how he handled Becky and left him.

Satan rolled up in an awesome sports car and she decided he was more fun than her husband.

Well generally I think she is dead. Or Becky would've tried going to her to escape Ross.

Toedad did say she died a year previously. I don't think he has any reason to lie about that unless he is lying about it to himself or something.

Oh right, forgot about that. Illness probably.

...Would be preetty dark if it turned out something treatable they tried faith healing on.

They don't seem to be the "get fired up dancing and smack the illness out of you" type, but I could see "prayer will be enough to heal her, if it's God's will".

There is nothing quite as dangerous as a man willing to die for a cause. Religion, family, whatever.

The fact that we're still talking about Toedad in Feb. 2016 is comforting, but he doesn't mention if the conversation is in the past tense or not.

I'm scared. And I still really want to know where Dina is.

Dina probably wasn't crazy enough to try jumping onto a moving car, so she's left lagging behind.

Or she followed Dina after toedad made for the car and is going to arrive shortly.
