I agree that Christmas Mode should probably have its examples reorganized. I think it might be a good idea to mention that in the other thread for this trope.

Most extensive video game trope pages are split up into various video game genres (FPS, turn-based strategy, roguelike, etc.) Sometimes the entries are even alphabetized *within* these genres. Christmas Mode, on the other hand, is just one big mish-mash. It might also be desirable to split up the examples by the kinds of days they mark, those which are actually Christmas, other real-world holidays, fictional holidays (for instance Sept. 22, Hobbits' Day), programmers' birthdays, etc.
This is a pretty major re-write, so it would require concerted effort.
