The Manor Is Not Enough - Maid RPG

Walking out of the garage with her brand new pair of shotgun bandoleers, Hitsugi began walking toward the main stairs, then paused in the hallway by the kitchen. ...Bah; might as well go clean up the study before punching out, she mused. That burglar might've gotten some blood on the sill when she dragged him through the window, after all. Turning down a different hallway she headed back to tidy up the study, making a pit stop on the way to collect some cleaning supplies from one of the hall closets.

"Hmmm...well that's not all that interesting...still might as well try to rig it so we'll know if someone else with one of these bulk purchased numbers comes wandering by..." she then gets to work

Kyla was relaxing in the communal bath for the mansion's maids. It was one of the perks of this job, and she didn't have to worry about trust with her fellow maids. Though Hitsugi always seemed to avoid meeting her here... maybe she couldn't handle her "uniqueness". She wondered when the others would arrive.

Hitsugi cleans the study. She finds a piece of paper, in Dan's handwriting. He'd apparently thrown it into the fireplace but the paper landed to one side and didn't burn as he intended.

Hitsugi stared for several long moments at the piece of paper, then turned to look at the cooling fireplace, then back at the paper. Crushing the page in her fist, she slapped her free hand over her eyes and hung her head. She stayed like that for a minute or so, then stuffed the crumpled page into the pocket of her apron and stormed out of the study.

"Well this has just been an excellent day," Hitsugi grumbled, not really looking where she was wandering until her feet finally brought her to the bathroom. Huh... well, I guess it is about that time, she mused, moving into the changing room to undress. She heard some splashing out in the bath, but she assumed it was Junko; they usually took their bath late in the evening, after Lisbeth and Kyla, and then cleaned it up afterward.

"Of course, usually I have to drag her away from whatever she's playing with first; I wonder if she finished looking at that cellphone." Eager to speak to the elf-eared maid, Hitsugi put her glasses in her locker along with her uniform and guns and stumbled myopically into the bathing area, plopping herself down beside the taps to wash off before her soak.

Junko meanwhile has stopped working with the phone and is now taking stock of her equipment. "Hmm...looks like I left some of my tools somewhere else again...Better check the garage...." with that she shrugs and heads off. "I should probably get a bath sometime soon here...well first thing's first." A few minutes later she makes it to the garage, "Now where would I have left that stuff...."

Junko goes over to a tool rack and picks up a left handed spanner wrench. She hears a click and the sound of a heavy duty hydraulic piston in action. When she turns around, she sees that part of the garage floor has risen up, revealing the fact that the section of 'floor' is actually the top of a hidden elevator. Parked in the elevator is a jet black Lamborghini. At fist glance, it looks identical to the master's normal Lamborghini. Closer inspection shows that the car has thicker doors (armoring), an elaborate control console, and a rocket pack on the passenger seat. The car is currently unlocked. One of the controls is a button inside the car marked 'Garage Elevator'.

Kyla lifted her head as she heard someone get into the bath next to her. Even in this heat, she could still tell by scent that it was Hitsugi. "Well, I didn't expect you to get here first," Kyla said to her.

"Well now, isn't this interesting....And not very surprising all things considered." remarks Junko looking over the car. "I'll have to make a note of that, could come in handy." she pulls out a pad and pencil and scribbles out a note before replacing the wrench to lower the car again.

The washcloth that Hitsugi was wringing slipped from her numb fingers as the Japanese girl froze like a like a spooked deer. "K-Kyla-san!" she sputtered as her legs crossed under the water and she nervously teased her (natural) sandy blonde hair over her shoulder to cover her chest. "I- I thought- that is-"

Biting her tongue, Hitsugi fought down the instinct to make excuses and flee from the other girl. That would be terribly rude, after all; even if Kyla sometimes seemed a bit- mannish, and even if she had a- a- thing down there, she was still a maiden. She worked as a maid and she wore womens' clothing and things were probably very hard for her...

And I shall have to remember to never think about 'hard things' in Kyla's presence; never again! Shaking her head to clear it, Hitsugi despaired at the loss of her washcloth, but she couldn't even see it against the bottom of the bath. Oh, why didn't I take a white towel? Even so, her poor eyesight was of little help when it came to Kyla. She'd sat down right beside the redhead, since she'd wanted to be able to see Junko when they spoke; she just hadn't been paying attention.

Trapped like a rat, Hitsugi desperately tried to calm herself. "It has been a rather trying day, hasn't it?" she asked conversationally, trying to force a smile. People would often tell Hitsugi that she was really quite beautiful - but in a scary way; had she been able to see the Slasher Smile that adorned her face at that moment, she would probably agree with them.

Junko was about to leave when she suddenly stops. "Wait a second something's screwy here...and for once I'm relatively sure it isn't me. Why would you need a button and the wrench switch both....Other then for atmosphere."

"Yeah, it has," replied Kyla, who didn't miss Hitsugi's moment of panic. "Of course, it could have been worse, right? Imagine if that mook had been harder to beat."

"I do not think we'll need to speculate long on the the prospect of hard- er... ah... rather, more difficult guests," Hitsugi babbled, squirming uncomfortably. "I'm sure they shall come sooner rather than later."

Simmering in embarrassment, Hitsugi slid down until only her nose and eyes were above water. Then she realised that this gave her a much better view of... certain things, and now her mouth was in the same water as-

"Ah!" Standing suddenly, the Japanese girl took a panicked step away, only to find slick cloth under her foot rather than firm, planed wood. "Uwah!" Hitsugi pinwheeled her arms frantically for a few moments before finally tumbling over, right on top of Kyla.

"Woah, hey, calm down," Kyla said, catching Hitsugi. "Geez, you always get like this when we're in the bath together." Then she noticed the position they were in. "Ehehehe..." Chuckling nervously, Kyla also blushed and pushed her away.

"I'm so sorry!" Hitsugi squeaked. "I- I fear I may have taken too much drink," she explained. Between the steaming bath and her blood-boiling embarrassment she was feeling lightheaded enough, even though she hadn't had more than a single sip of her rum.

As Kyla reached out to push her away Histugi reflexively tried to catch her arms. Unfortunately, between panic and poor positioning she only managed to put her own hands in several rather inappropriate places on Kyla's body before finally managing to scramble off of the other girl.

Falling over on her behind across from Kyla, limbs splayed in all directions, Hitsugi closed her eyes and tilted her head back to hide her abject mortification. Please, someone just kill me now...

Kyla blushed harder when Hitsugi accidentally groped her, and similarly sank lower in the bath. "By the way, Hitsugi," she began, making an attempt to get their minds off the matter, "why do you always get like this in the bath?"

Gathering herself up, Hitsugi scooted to the other side of the bath. "W-well, that is-" Not wanting to offend, the blonde dithered for a few seconds, trying to think of a plausible explanation that didn't involve the impropriety of bathing with men. "I'm not a-accustomed to bathing with- with women outside of my family," she blurted.

Lisbeth had been prepared to clean up what mess there was left from the mook's apprehension. However, when Histsugi jumped to that task she instead settled for quietly removing the empty Martini glass to the kitchen. Quickly washing and drying it, she set it in dumbwaiter to send up to the master's suite in the morning.

Stopping for a moment, she tried to think of anything else in the house that needed to be done before taking a belated bath. With the master busy with the prisoner, she couldn't really think of anything else that required immediate attention. Now it was time for a nice quiet shower before bed. Not that bathing with the other maids was difficult... she just missed having some time to herself. Lisbeth decided that a shower was the thing for her, she headed up the stairs, her wings were starting to cramp.

"Really?" Kyla asked. "I thought someone like you would be used to it. After all, they have public bathhouses in Japan, don't they?"

Histugi nodded hesitantly. "There are public baths in Japan, but I have seldom used them," she replied, sweat and bath water dripping down her carefully neutral face. "My family home had a bath, after all."*

While she was grateful that the conversation was moving away from her unease in Kyla's naked presence, Hitsugi wasn't sure she liked where it was going. Thus, it was with great relief that she heard the click of a locker being shut in the changing room.

"Junko-san?" Hitsugi called out, not quite able to mask the relief in her voice as she turned to look over her shoulder at the human-shaped blur*

that had just entered the bathing area.

Carefully wrapped in a towel, Lisbeth headed through the bath room towards the showers hoping to leave Hitsugi and Kyla to their conversation. The two girls were positively hilarious when left alone, naked, together. Then the Hitsugi called out for Junko, presumably meaning her. Turning her sightless eye towards the bath Lisbeth shook her head, "No. Lisbeth."

Let God do His work, we will see to ours. Bring in the candles.

"Ah- my mistake," Hitsugi replied, sounding slightly put-out as she squinted intensely at the German woman. Still, one excuse was as good as another. "I suppose I shall have to go find her then, before she falls asleep in her uniform - perhaps behind the water heater or underneath the Master's car," Hitsugi observed wryly, gripping the rim of the bath and standing up.

"If you will excuse me, K-Kyla, Lisbeth," she bid, nodding first to the redhead then to the brunette before fleeing to the changing room. Quickly donning a fresh uniform and slinging the guns across her back, Hitsugi exited the bathroom and hurried back downstairs, making a beeline for the garage, which had proven to be one of Junko's favorite haunts.

When she reached the door she stopped and then, with great delicacy, she pounded very hard on the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, "JUNKO-SAN, ARE YOU IN THERE?!" Hard experience had taught her that this was the only reasonably safe way to enter a room that the elf-eared maid might be 'using.'

"Whew... that was getting awkward," Kyla said, slouching in the bath with relief. "I'm glad you came here when you did, Lisbeth."

"Hmmm....Well not gonna find out anything standing here thinking about it." remarks Junko picking up the wrench again. "Let's see if there's anything down there." with that she rides the car elevator down. "Hmmm..." she says after the ride, "A second garage...Tools...ammo...nothing too out of the ordinary down here." She pokes around a bit. "Nope about what you'd expect....I would kinda like to know what that noise behind the wall is but I'm not too eager to go do my koolaid man impression again." she then jumps hearing Hitsugi. "Yikes, I wonder what's her problem this time...." she quickly rides the car elevator back up. "Comming!" she shouts.
