Half of the examples don't even fit the trope as stated - they're closer to someone being unexpectedly killed by a character they hadn't been paying attention to, rather than specifically someone dying.

The current description implies it's villain specific. I don't feel this is necessary. I think the effort required to change something that small is trivial, but wanted to get consensus first.
