I am inordinately confused here... lots of names of people we saw briefly a long time ago.

Its the two who got away from the attempted Alien Snatch-And-Grab on Maxima in New York, Laphra and Garamm. Tenri is another Ætholith like Laphra and part of Parfaits social circle it seems.
So Laphra and Garamm snatched Tenri, put her (the flame) on Budget-dûr and Laphra took over Tenri's meat body for another attempt at Superhero-napping.
