Oh, superhero story, all the fucking way.
Failing that, I guess I couldn't do too bad in a good World War Two movie...
I am now known as Flyboy.Gimme Fallout or gimme death!
Few things would beat being a Khan or a Brotherhood member in the Fallout-verse.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Is there a genre for things like Paprika and Inception? About the dream aspect in particular and dreams melding into reality. Things like that.
That is where I would want to be.
That or something like Reboot.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahUnfortunately, I rented Fallout 3, so I haven't finished it yet. The Brotherhood, from what little I saw of them, were pretty cool. Don't know who the Khan are. Wouldn't want to live in that 'verse, either. Too little chance of getting anything done before dying a pointless death, and too depressing.
I guess, if I had to pick a specific 'verse, I'd go with Spider-Man. Iron Man wouldn't be too bad. I'd have to kill myself if it was Watchmen...
I am now known as Flyboy.Utopian fiction, written by somebody who agrees with me.
Failing that, a reasonably comfortable Slice of Life-esque series but in a science fiction/fantasy hybrid setting.

If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.@USAF: Get yourself Fallout: New Vegas immediately. If necessary, pirate it. It's the best RPG ever.
As for why I'd pick Fallout... well, the Fallout-verse is harsh and bleak, but it's free. All it takes is some guts, a few weapons and a decent mindset to really make a difference in people's lives there. You can make a living in good ol' adventuring and barter.
It's not a bad place to live, if you're the enterprising type.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.I have been lately thinking how cool it would be to live in a sciene fiction/fantasy kitchen sink action series.Provided that it would include me being a werehyena amazon queen in training.

I gotta finish Fallout 3 first, Savage.
Bleh... given how much fail I was at that game until I got the combat shotgun and assault rifle... which only made me slightly less fail, mind you... I get the feeling that in real life, without the lovely "load last save" feature, that living in the Fallout 'verse wouldn't be nearly as amusing.
It's like Dragon Age. Amazing to play. Not cool in real life.
I am now known as Flyboy.Do I get real-life VATS?
If you've got VATS, you've got Da Powah.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Why would you? You're in the genre, not playing it. Besides, VATS runs out, remember.
I am now known as Flyboy.Space opera, definitely.
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulDom com.
Definitely something futuristic/cybertech-ish. The Ghost in the Shell universe seems like it would be pretty interesting.
A mixture of dark comedy, political statire, space opera and high fantacy.
Elerments of film noir, cyberpunk and Shakespearn Romantics will be also welcomed.
I’m a lumberjack and I’m ok. I sleep all night and work all day.Pretty much any fantasy on the idealistic end of the scale.
Post-singularity SF with abundant choices for transhumanism - cybernetic, biological etc. With enough loot to take a transhuman option, natch.
Space opera, all the way.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.Oh wait — does yuri count as a genre? :X I could definitely hop aboard that train, I think, as long as Bury Your Gays isn't in effect.

I don't normally question these, but for once, I'll bite. Galeros, why do you want to be in a horror story?
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulI guess something like a Slice of life anime where there's lots of cake and music. (This is a given for me...)
If not, then a nerd-based sitcom.
Some form of horror-fantasy, most likely.

Harem anime.
I know many people have a favorite genre so what would happen if they were transported to that specific genre.
My picks would be secret hero mutant show, shonen action, a animal hero based show and magical boyfriend series.
And my grand favorite of them all a disneyverse animation based show.
