When did Christianity become "White"?

In America? Yes, 1,000 times yes.

Churches were black gospel music is played is pretty much a staple of our media. We only hear about black Muslim groups when Malcolm X comes up.

I think it's possible to paint other religions besides christianity and islam as black. I also thought most people thought the muslims were arabs, iranians, and africans.

The biggest religions are Christianity, Islam, Hinudism.

All African traditional religions COMBINED only rival Buddhism and Chinese traditional (likely a mix of Taoism, Confucianism, and folk religion).

So, not really any major “black” religions. Though, some sects within those religions probably are.

well I now there are black jews, sikhs, bhuddists, and pagans.

You're probably right.

Once again: Christianity hasn't been a "white" religion since the 1960s, if that. It's just that US media portrays Christians as they are in that country, that is, majority white, and US media is ubiquitous.

I'd point out that in the 90s and going back to the Civil Rights era, Islam was most often conflated with Blacks, as seen in every Spike Lee joint ever, Boys in the Hood, Juice etc. This got shunted out the racist sphere one 9/11 hit, merging it with a more generic "Arab" fear.
