[up]Not bad. But really, what's wrong with the Monty Python swear jar?

I'm not really a fan of the anime Cake pic. Like Madrugada, I don't like Demotivators since they're pretty much just a weak attempt at describing the trope, and without the caption the picture is just some random anime character holding a pastry. Nothing Portal-esque about it.

Then again, I'm also not that big on the current Python image. And was Candlestick Jack ever a meme outside of this site? If it was, I never saw it.

Bump...any other thoughts? I'm still good with the current pic.

"Then again, I'm also not that big on the current Python image."

Well aside from dialog, how else are you going to show the "discredited" part?

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

I'm going to voice my support for the current Monty Python image, or any replacement involving Monty Python - its and its quotations are definitely a legitimate real-life meme extending well beyond the internet, they've been happening for decades, and people in real life do tend to be legitimately sick of such quotations. In that sense, it's an excellent example of a Discredited Meme, and as it's an example that transcends internet culture and thus is more recognisable, it's so much the better for it.
