A forced meme is a meme that isn't necessarily funny, and is only around because people keep posting that unfunny shit.
Like if me and 6 other people do everything in our power to post a picture of a watermelon with a smile carved into it, it's a forced meme. It isn't funny, but it exists because we keep posting it on purpose in an effort to make it funny/troll people who will whine about posting it.
Cuanto Cabron is in spanish, so people who can't read spanish obviously won't be that into it.

If they don't think it's funny, fine, but the users of the site definitely find them funny, otherwise they woudn't get so many upvotes insite (strips that aren't funny simply don't get posted at all, it's become a running gag that even God can't hope toget His strips publshed). But in a site like Know Your Meme, that intends to catalogue all memes, not just the ones in English, you cant dismiss something as "forced meme" simply because it doesn't cater to your demographic.
It's even leaking out to the streets, where you'll hear random youth in the street sayng ME GUSTA in that specific way.

The Quiet One. No OTT. No unfunny. No squick. No crusades. Harmless and clean.A forced meme is a deliberately engineered meme spammed by a small number of people, as opposed to one grown naturally.
What's precedent ever done for us?^^
Opinions Greg, opinions.
I've personally never heard of Cuanto Cabron until you posted some strips recently, so yeah..
It's probably a lot funnier for people who actually understand it, that's kind of a barrier to a lot of people on the net.

What he said. I never heard of it before, let alone from the fact that it was unpopular in the Anglointernet (are you refering to something else beyond the language issue?).
I get my rage comics from Reddit.
Point that somewhere else, or I'll reengage the harmonic tachyon modulator.I've never heard of it before.
If I was being arrogant, I'd say that made it a forced meme. It probably isn't though, I just don't spend that much time on forums besides this one.
Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.I'm Mexican I and have never heard about "Cuanto Cabron"

^Ditto.
Please. But hasn't every meme that has ever originated on 4chan at least had some flighty aspiration of becoming the next LOLWUT pear or whatever? Every meme there is trying to be a meme, and very few memes have ever meant much in context. So a forced meme is distinguished from a true meme the same way cults are from religions (if you don't read material from exit counselors, that is) - by popular vote.
Hail Martin Septim!
What does "Forced Meme" even mean? And why is Cuanto Cabrón so unpopular in the Anglointernet when it is so loved in the Spaninternet?
The Quiet One. No OTT. No unfunny. No squick. No crusades. Harmless and clean.
