Alt account of Angeldog 2437.@Beorc Bad "3D" graphics can ruin moments for me when there's a a good story going on.

Fine, I shall save my pants-throwing for next time you flirt with someone who doesn't wish it.
someday we will foresee obstacles*high fives*
OK,let's stop the bullshit and discuss the series.
Can somebody explain to me the appeal of this?
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum. No, this is my post. And my post is sane. And my post say that if you can't follow the rule of "Don't like this thread, don't post in it", you get to meet the Machine Gun.
The Machine Gun that shoots David Bowies that sing Machine Gun.
So...what's it gonna be, punk?

Alt account of Angeldog 2437.The appeal of the series is
I heart Square Enix
I heart Disney
Both of them together = instant awesome. Just like chocolate and pizza or puppies and flamethrowers.
Welcome to th:|:c
I got into the series because of the Disney, and stayed for the original characters and the Final Fantasy elements.
someday we will foresee obstacles@juancarlos The appeal of the games after KH 2 or the series ?

Second time in five minutes my lack of reading comprehension skills have lead to failure. Clearly I need help.

someday we will foresee obstaclesI ignore the Disney as much as possible in favor of the Final Fantasy, except for Beast, of course. And I too feel the series went to hell after KH 2. Spinoffs for 3 different "systems"? What were you thinking Nomura? Of course now there've been ports, but even still, mobiles can't replace a console game.
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."All of the games should've been on the DS, PSP, or PS 2. Certainly not spread out the way they were.
I didn't even know Chain of Memories existed until after Kingdom Hearts II...
Really ? Lots of the spin offs are explaining the plotholes KH 2 left. Actually there's only really 2 spin offs which are Re:Coded and 358/2 Days.
BBS and KH 3D are considered main games.
Fuck the DS!

TWEWY was on the DS and it was awesome. >:|
I think it would have been better to have gone with the original plan to have BBS on the PS2, since that might have kept people from lumping it in with the side games.
someday we will foresee obstaclesThey're probably trying to make the games accessible to new players...which would be better if it weren't for the fact that all of the handheld games require knowledge of previous games to understand certain things. Except BBS, maybe.
Yeah, seriously. Pick a fucking system, stop making fans buy alternates to get the whole story. I understand increasing your audience, but this is obviously just a marketing tactic for other systems. I realize the point of these are spin offs to tell side stories and such, and mobile games may be faster to produce since graphics potential isnt as high. But they easily could've been released as a collection of sidestories for the PS 3 or something (not that I have that either, but 1 system is better than 3).
Not to mention the systems themselves, being mobiles, have lower specs than a console system so something like graphics quality is shot (something I've actually praised KH, KH 2 and RE Co M on, then again, maybe the stills of 358/2 Days I've seen are lacking).
As for story, the whole introduction of the BBS characters just seems like an asspull to me. Don't even get me started on Xion. And I'm not even sure Coded has any relevence in the main series? Don't get me wrong, I loved KH-KH 2, despite the slight misgivings in story and such, but it seems to have gone rampent with the newest editions to the series. Or I could just be an uninformed idiot. /rant
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."Xion was well done for an asspull, though.
I heard that Disney was getting impatient with SE due to all of their side-games.
Must be better than it sounds then, could the synopsis sounds pretty dumb, them more or less sucking life out of eachother. I do like the idea of the missions and seeing the Organization's behind-the-scenes action though.
BBS, eh, even with the Birth By Sleep video I found it rather dumb the old man (Xehanort?) beats Terra in physical prowess. Magic, certainly. Conjuring Vanitas (who I guess then seemed more like a shadow-warrior thing), obviously. But the old guy cracking armor with his hand? No. Maybe he has magical strength upgrades that I don't know about. Maybe their "armor" is actually tin foil. But the way it was set up years ago, it just looked like a cop-out to get the scenes to happen the way they did. Or maybe it's to god-mod Xehanort. I wouldn't know.
Disney getting impatient makes me lol.
