It's a bit- no.

Just a face, nowhere near a decent example... the image makes no sense. Really... one where a character is covering their mouths or a distant shot. Perhaps multiple images in one to give examples of how directors do this.

What I did was put the title and the link in the wrong boxes... like a genius.

Okay, you mixed them up. I just hollered, don't fool with them until a mod fixes it.

Upon reading the trope, I think this would be better with a repeated panel of some kind.

Pulled for being a textbook JAFAAC.

I could have sworn this was an anime pic from the one giant robot show with two people turned away from the camera. That Neon Genesis show.

That image was added by MatthewPb, and there was no image on the page when it was added. I can't find any earlier image in the history.

I had a history search as well. (Before you posted, naturally.)

As for NGE, did you mean the Rei/Asuka elevator scene? There are a couple of moments in there where Rei (the white haired girl) speaks when the camera is looking at the back of her head.

I'm currently looking for another scene in the show that I saw in the Death/Rebirth movie.... and it's got animation in the show. Darnit.

Anyway... could always go for the part in the Simpsons' episode when they had to cover up Homer's mouth when saying the names of the teams◊. If a yes I'll get one without the words.
