He can paint over everything with the blanket defense of "I did it to combat a terrorist attack by an extremely famous international terrorist. Literally my job description."

Wanda's criminal record and Scary Foreigner-ness would practically guarantee exoneration.

Marvel is a world where Norman Osborn could be elected president, but if Peter Parker accidentally stole a bottle of milk, he would be branded an internationally wanted terrorist.

Or even worse, the government is useless at stopping even the weakest villains, but when a hero is accused of a crime, they spend the entire nation's budget, just to kill or capture him.

Oh, they do not spend the entire nation's budget.

They spend half of the budget. They need the rest of their money for the genocide machines against a race of people just minding their business.

I still would like to see a Hayward She-Hulk trial though. I think it would be an interesting way to analyze his actions from a legal and a moral standpoint.

Hah. A She-Hulk show where she handles the legal leftovers of the MCU. All the villains/people we thought died turn out to be alive and incarcerated.

• A Wakandan diplomat dealing with the fallout of letting Martin Freeman's character go
• whatever political mess is going on with the Thunderbolts, US Agent, etc.

I'd honestly prefer an animated She-Hulk show that's not connected to the MCU and is just allowed to go wild with stuff from the comics instead of being beholden to MCU continuity and character depictions. I feel that part kind of limits the idea, with a separate continuity you can do so much more with all sorts of characters and not have to worry about actor availability or a character or concept being saved for a future entry.

An animated show doesn't have to worry about actor availability. Marvel's demonstrated much greater willingness to recast for vocal performances than live-action in What If.

In general animation would give more freedom to projects. Look at how good X Men 97 is for example.

Also, if She-Hulk had been animated, they would have avoided the controversy of spending money on special effects to make She-Hulk do a butt dance.

For a strange reason, the butt-dance is the most controversial scene in the series.

Honestly She-hulk would have benefited from having a villain who wasn't a stereotypical misogynistic incel.

Nah, that made it doubly funny when similar people popped up in the hatedom. Way to call the incredibly obvious, the She-Hulk writers.

I mean I don't agree. I don't think it needed a villain but considering the way that real life misogynistic incels reacted (as in those who just hated the idea of a female lead show and not those with legit complaints), I think they went the right way if they had to have a villain.

Then again, I personally don't think the superhero sitcom needed a villain.

I am aware that he is intended to be a Hate Sink, but even as a Hate Sink I am not convinced by the character.

What I liked most about the series was Abomination, who somehow managed to get 7 girlfriends.

Many complained that he suffered a Villain Decay, but it was obvious that he is not going to act like a monster if he wants to be freed.

The superhero sitcom needed more episodes but apparently the few episodes they did make cost too much. So the superhero sitcom needs to be animated, as previously discussed.

I mean like I am not shocked. Tim Roth is reasonably good looking for his age.

Also, I will pesonally take his She Hulk personality over his Incredible Hulk one any day mainly because he was just hilarious and had a lot of the best lines.

In terms of the court cases, I'm not a fan of how 2 was resolved with the same "defendant is humiliated by witnesses revealing embarrassing personal information about them", the first time Jen doing it to her sexist coworker in the light elf trial and the second time Jen having it down to her by her bad dates during the Titania trial.

I especially hate the second one because it just feels like forcing Jen to go through more misery for the sake of misery. Like she already feels bad by how shitty all those guys are, and bringing them back doesn't do anything more other than making it a public spectacle.

She-Hulk was at its best when it wasn't doing courtroom stuff. The Daredevil episode and finale were both highlights.

I don't know if we discussed this earlier, but I love that they couldn't get Harrison Ford to get a mustache for Ross.

They should have reverse engineered the Justice League technology and CGI'd one on him.

I still really wonder on that casting. I mean why does Marvel want him (other than well the cachet of his name)? Why does he want to work for Marvel at 80+?

Marvel wants a big name actor, Harrison Ford wants an easy paycheck, this is no big conspiracy.
