Jurassic World

I'd be marginally more interested in Camp Cretaceous if it was 2D. There's something deeply uncanny about those CG dinosaurs that look kind of, but not quite, like their movie counterparts, and it's hard to believe in the stakes when the human characters are plasticky googly-eyed puppets. (It was hard enough to believe in Chris Pratt!)

You know what'd be sweet? Jurassic World anime by Studio Trigger. They did that Toy Story short with 2D dinosaurs. Now there's something I could get into.

I hear that Gareth Edwards was only the director of Rogue One In Name Only. Maybe I have that backwards though. Godzilla 2014 I thought was really good at the time and I'm hoping he can pull from the best parts of that for this next Jurassic Park/World movie though.

Can't help but notice that even though the Indominus and the Indoraptor are officially female and male, everyone calls them "it" anyways.

I say she when discussing most of the dinosaurs, so there you go.
