What a day this was turning into, Wilhelm thought as the lady gave her response to his demand to know where the hell he was. Apparently she was insane, or drunk, or something. Clearly he was not a prisoner. For one thing, he was not behind any kinda bars or anything. Second, he hadn't had his weapons taken. He quickly double checked, guns were still in the storage deck, like always.

Riiiiight. Wilhelm said, disbelief clear in his tone.

Then what could only be described as a scene out of some horror movie took place, what with the random screaming and fainting. That's two he chalked up on the insane count. Then some other girl suggested they leave the room. Wilhelm squinted at her head. Where those horns she had on her head? Had she glued them on, or had them implanted? Well, it was weird, that made 3 people insane in the room.

3 was his limit. Hell, 1 would have been his limit. it was time to get off the crazy train and get moving.

Right, ok. I already have to deal with one insane employer, I'm not dealing with other insane people. If anyone here still had a shred of sanity, there's a large pile of money waiting for anyone who can help me find the exit. With that, Wilhelm turned and started walking away down the hallway.

Dragon's Lair, River Ziggurat — Grey

To say that the battle had been hard on Grey's body was an understatement. Parts of the "wood" that made up his body had splintered and jutted outwards like broken bones in miniature. It felt like the reploid's body was on fire. By this point he felt like his consciousness was nearly detached from the thing it controlled, almost as though he feared getting too close to it and the pain that impaled his senses. But most of all he was angry. Angry that their true foe had gotten the last laugh. Angry that he couldn't have done anything to make Praxidiometes' passing easier. Angry that he didn't manage to do more.

It was thus that the reploid-cum-Warforged simply nodded tiredly at Saren's idea. He wasn't in the mood to debate. He just wanted to right wrongs and ensure that justice was served.

Junko's Room

Come on Azaka, your master didn't train a fool. She thought to herself as she watched all of this unfurl. First of all she was trappened in a different world entirely. It hard to accept but if she didn't she might just go mad. Secondly there's a being called Omega that wants us to suffer so it can escape its prison. So, whatever was happening to this Junko girl was the doing of Omega most likely.

Moreover she was hiding something in her right hand. It was garingly obvious, that she was. But she was just attacked, what could she possibly be hiding after something like that?

Azaka narrowed her eyes at the unconscious Junko. She wasn't buying it, but there's no way some one like her could just come in and start throwing accusations around.

Samus had no emotion for the Urizen, nor his words. Once he took over again — that had always been a likely scenario — she kept an ear to his prattling while she kept a continuous scan of the room going, to ensure there would be no ambush, no attempt at distracting them from an attack.

It never came. At the end of Praxidiometes, its slave master had nothing for them but taunting.

After all his words of distraction, all it amounts to was an attempt to goad us. Goad us over a fallen enemy, at that.— She found it amusing, in a dark way. She couldn't tell if it was petty or sinister.

The fact that he knew so much about them, however, was an exceedingly worrying discovery. The enemy knew much more than they had predicted — was it magic, reading it from them? Was there a traitor in one of the groups? Prisoners? Either way, he now seemed to have an exasperating advantage. The parameters had changed for them.

She glanced over at Kyoko, though she wouldn't let the magical girl see it as she knew she'd probably be irritated at a worried look — even if it was a strategic worry. The Urizen's interest in her magic...perhaps they could use that, actually. No matter what though, her gem must not be allowed to fall into his hands — for her sake and everyone elses, he didn't need more weapons. Not an incredibly likely threat — kyoko never let it out of her sight, and they were never out of each others' sight. On another note, his interest in unique and powerful magics was certainly apparent — she'd have to remember to question Stalgrim on such magics that were known of, he likely had most in his armory.

"Our situation has changed", Samus stated once Saren had finished. "The enemy has gained a massive advantage over us — I will firstly bring up the possibility that he is not reading our minds, but has instead captured a member of the other groups who would know us that well. Either way, he now bears too much information. I suggest we depart immediately; I'd rather not give him any more time to bring his counterattack to muster than we must. It shall already take us until tomorrow to return to the city, and I worry for how the other groups have managed. Even if this knowledge is new to him, he has likely already begun to account for it — we must make haste to cut him off before he can entrap us."

She motioned towards the dragon. "We can give it its funeral quickly and ensure the water has been purified, but collecting materials is superfluous right now — grab some if you must, but let's not delay for it."

She remained in giving him a steady look of one in discussion for a couple of seconds after that, then glanced at fluttershy and Sayaka.

"Ahem...", she motioned down awkwardly with her cannon arm, her hand still gripping her side to keep blood from flowing out. Even so, ichor had begun to pool around her foot noticably.

Well, Junko certainly seems to have had something happen to her. Archer would've probably chalked it up to whatever case he thought she had, but with the strange circumstances they were in, Zero knew there was a real possibility something strange was happening. However, whatever Zero saw on Junko's hand seemed to be gone. Was he seeing things earlier? Or is the fact the thing is now gone another cause for concern?

A few newcomers had shown up, but Zero felt the matter of Junko was more pressing. Lune was investigating, and seemed to think the others should leave it to her. However...

Sabrina

"...I'll stay," Sabrina suggested to the others. "Regardless of what might've happened here, Junko does need rest, and Zero has a point."

"When she wakes up, then we can question her about what happened," Sabrina concluded, looking at Archer. "Even if you're right, you aren't going to help forcefully trying to find out what happened from her."

Lune the Untrusted - Unwilling Pacifist

"Even if I could attack her while she's out, why would I?" Lune asked, glaring at Zero with evident, if somewhat fake, annoyance. "I'm not some bloodthirsty monster, you know?"

Still, she couldn't just kick them out of a room that wasn't even hers. And she didn't want to seem particularly interested in staying alone with Junko, so...

"Fine, you stay," Lune finally conceded, looking at Sabrina. "If I were you I'd keep the old man around, though. I'm not sure of what you heard or what Zero saw, but it could be dangerous... or it could just be a 'toy'. Either way, be careful."

"I sure if Yee thinks it may be a threat, he'll insist on staying," Sabrina told Lune, crossing her arms. "But if you are worried about me and Junko, you can stay as well."

Quite frankly, Sabrina did not really want to be allow with an unconscious Junko and whatever might be in this room.

Junko's Room

Oh. She was now unconscious. That did remind me of a few things actually, besides the fact that I need not sleep.

Still, nothing in the room held any interest for me right now. I was curious about Junko, but not enough to wait around for her to wake.

I left, just wandering the place and mapping it's layout in my mind. For the time being, it seemed the worst the place could throw at me was boredom.

Ooh, how I shiver with fear.

Room of Junko; Invasion of Privacy

Yee placed a tentative hand on Junko's forehead. His brow furrowed, deep wrinkled slate. There was more steel in his eyes than before.

Finally he spoke, his voice carefully arranged in nothing but concern.

"Whoever wishes to may stay. Please, make sure that Junko comes to no harm."

He gave the girl one last glance and shuffled out of the broken doorway, the wood springing back to life as he stepped through. Outside he leaned against the wall, fingers whitening on his cane.

Of course he was suspicious. He would be a fool not to be. But it was not long since he had been both foolish and blind, and because of that Suh had died. His dearest friend.

He had cast his vote along with the others and turned the Four to Three. He didn't know why, not even now. He asked himself every waking moment. Why his meekness had strangled his speech, why his pride had killed his conscience. But one answer, at least, rang clear.

The Remnant Yee could never again trust himself. He could only stand mildly, doing penance, and smile until the bitter end. The right to life was theirs. It was no longer his.

Body of Junko; Definite Invasion of Privacy

The lump pushed through her arm and across her collarbone and rolled up through her throat, settling quietly in her left cortex. There it jammed like an inhaled truffle ball.

Junko wake up

the old man's gone

talk to them Junko

A oily shiver ran up Junko's skin and dripped into the air, hanging in the room like a misty mix of salad and spit.

Junko's Room; Waking Up

Just a bit after Yee left the room, Junko stirred. A moment later, she shifted up, opening her eyes. She still breathed heavily, as if waking from some terrifying nightmare. Considering what had happened she might as well have been.

She would have preferably stayed unconscious for a little while longer, if not for the strange jolt she felt in her brain. She wanted to have some words with the still-unknown abomination that had invaded her body, but for now, she still had company.

"Damn...my head still hurts..." She mumbled.

It took a moment for Junko to fully reboot. Self-inducing unconsciousness obviously wasn't good for you, although things that weren't good for her had never stopped her before.

She scanned the room. Lune, Sabrina, Zero and...some new girl. Another teen by the looks of it.

As It had said, the old man was gone. Archer too, which was a plus. She imagined there were some other faces sticking their noses in before her previous collapse, but that didn't matter yet. She'd make another round of introductions later.

"...Good morning, everybody!...Any reason you're all in my room?" The ultimate fashionista put on a picture perfect smile, seemingly unaware of her previous breakdown.

???

Pride didn't believe in a higher creature, even if his own father's entire plan revolved around devouring that creature. He just saw it as a manifestation of the core of the universe, of whatever inner power makes the world go round- not an actual, sentient being lording over every world out there, affecting every decision made and every step taken.

But in that moment, when that force hit his head, well, in that moment he was ready to believe anything.

His limbs froze instantly, but he fought on. He had faced death several times. In fact, he had died several times. This was nothing, this instinct telling him to curl up into a little ball and hide was nothing, nothing, nothing. He was Pride, the first Homunculus, the greatest of all of Father's creations. When the necromancer came swinging for him, Pride rolled forward, trying to dodge the blow and get past his enemy.

But at the same time, he waited for the sweet spot, when he would step, even a single inch, into his shadows... when he felt that step, that tip of his foot, Pride's shadows clung around it, trying to hurl him at the glyph, at the wall, trying to make it all STOP.

Lune - To Stay or Not To Stay

"Hmmmm..."

Lune weighed both options carefully. On one hand, there were so many enjoyable activities she could do with her free time... and babysitting a group of people wasn't one she'd consider enjoyable. However, the entire scenario was somewhat amusing, with Junko currently unconscious and probably insane, and Sabrina being somewhat scared.

Yee, after taking a close look, gave them the task of making sure Junko didn't get hurt and left the room, rebuilding the door on his way out. For some reason, it seemed typical of the old man to do something like that by then.

"This better not be a waste of my time," the devil stated once Yee left, beginning to rummage through her bag. "I'm gonna get very pissed if-"

It sure wasn't. Mere moments later, Junko woke up, almost as if nothing had happened. She didn't even seem to remember her psychotic breakdown. She merely inquired why everyone was in the room and smiled as if nothing had happened.

"I was just going to torture you in your sleep," Lune began, pointing towards the others with one hand while she kept searching her bag with the other. "They just came to watch."

Junko didn't bat an eye at Lune's "joke", instead responding with one of her own.

"Ah...So, you're not just an M, you're an S too?" Her smile changed into a catty smirk. "Course, I'm not really into that sort of stuff, but I'm thinking you probably wouldn't get much out of me."

While that may or may not have been a lie, she turned her attention away from Lune and fixated it on the Reploid.

"Aww Zero...You're the last one I expected to worry about me. Nice to know you're my knight in metal armor." She said in a sappy, cheesy manner, even blushing a bit. Of course, she was sure the robot was suspicious of her, but more attention she drew away from what he saw the better.

"Sooo...What happened, exactly? I remember having a bad dream, then waking up, and then...Well, waking up again." She said to Sabrina, in as natural of a way as possible.

"..Oh! And I guess you're new. I'm Junko. Enoshima Junko. Nice to meet you." She made a side glance towards Azaka, giving her a brief introduction.

Lune - Chocolate > Social Interaction

(Where is it? I swear I had one in here...)

At that point Lune was so focused on rummaging through her bag, that she almost didn't pay attention to what the others said. She heard something about "sick fantasies", jokes, S's and M's, and metal armor, but nothing in particular that caught her attention.

"Hmm... sure, whatever," the devil muttered, before a smirk appeared on her face. "Ah, here it is."

At long last, her bandaged hand finally pulled out... a somewhat ruined chocolate bar. She had actually bought it only a few hours earlier, but with all that had happened over the previous hour, it was no surprise that it was in such a bad state.

It was probably still edible, though. So she might as well eat it.

"Almost thought I'd lost it," Lune stated, before taking off the wrap and taking her first bite, after which she turned towards Junko. "Anyway, you okay? You kind of went insane for a while."

To both of the girls, Junko responded with a slight wave of her hand.

"Ah, me? I feel fine. Finer than ever, actually. Like I just got a whole night of sleep in just a couple of minutes." She said, completely free of worry.

For a moment, she frowned, as if thinking hard about something, before returning to her nonchalant, if somewhat off smile.

"Hmm...I do have kind of a hole in my memory, though. I remember waking up with a whole lot more of you guys crowding my personal space...then, nothing else!"

Lune - No Wasting Allowed

"I know, but I actually had to buy this one, and I'm not letting my money nor my food go to waste," Lune stated with a dull expression. "Besides, it's still good. Smells like chocolate, tastes like chocolate, has no poison..."

To further prove her point, she took another bite off the snack before addressing Junko.

"Hole, huh...then you don't remember what happened after the whole bunch was here," she stated, assuming a thinking pose. "And you said you were sleeping before they broke in. Well...fine by me."

The sleeping part was complete bullcrap, and she was well aware of that. For all she knew, everything up to that point could just be one huge lie as well. Not that she minded, but if those were lies, then that meant Junko was quite good at tricking people into believing her. Something that could be very, very useful later.

Junko's Room

Junko waited a moment, for anyone to speak their minds on her excuse. With Lune seemingly accepting it, and no one else giving any input as to what had happened, she figured it was fine for now.

"Soooo...You guys have any other reasons to be in my room? Not trying to be pushy or anything, it's just that I don't think this is the right place to have a little get-together..." She looked around her room. 4 people certainly made the dorm room a bit crowded, even if it was fairly spacious for school housing standards.

"I promise I won't be taking another nap any time soon, so y'all don't have to worry about me."

The fashionista briefly wondered what anyone thought of her "decorations", especially with her not mentioning her title to anyone other than Zero at this point. That thought passed however, as what she really wanted was for them to leave...some of them, at least.

"Hey, Sabrina...can you hear me, if I think like this?"

Although she recalled the girl say she had it as one of her psychic abilities, Junko didn't really know how Sabrina's telepathy worked.
