He had heard helpful sentiments before - courtesy of Aile - but she stressed forging your own destiny rather than avoiding focusing on the past. Nodding to himself, as though that might solidify what the courier had said in his mind, Grey said, "Okay, I'll try to do that. I have to admit, I haven't gotten to know you all very well. Why are you so willing to help out?"

"Eh, I'm used to helping people out. There's a lot of need out there in the wasteland for a guy with a diverse skill set. Solving crimes, punching out Deathclaws, delivering fission batteries, occasional surgeries, you name it, I've probably done it at some point."

Jack wasn't certain how he felt about the matter of the fuzzy creatures being intelligent and used against their will, but he made a note to speak with Fluttershy sometime later, she seemed to have taken a few under her wing, quite literally. He made a polite farewell to Stranger and withdrew. He went in search of Moja, trusting in the others to handle themselves. It was in his mind to demand further information on their progress and what, precisely, the challenges they had overcome had accomplished.

"Oh, right," replied Grey. "You sound like you've had a lot of adventures... just like me. If... when we get back to my world, I'll do everything in my power to stop Master Thomas. Even if I have to sacrifice myself in the process. I've fought too long and - "
The reploid's hands tightened into fists, before unclenching again. "- He can't be allowed to win. I won't let him. If we're finally allowed to return to our own worlds, I think I'll go wandering again. There's still so much I want to find out about myself."
Why was he baring his thoughts to a complete stranger? Grey didn't know, but somehow simply having someone else to talk to was providing some measure of solace. It helped to make him feel part of something.

Fluttershy was overhearing the conversation between Grey and Cletus. Her head bowed down at the mention of one of those world they went to being destroyed........
And then Duck Dodgers spoke up, poking a stick at one fuzzles.
"Actually I doubt your missing stomach is was caused by them," she sternly said to the space captain, using a hoof to move away the offending stick. "And I would very much like for you to keep any negative advice to yourself," she added, turning away and then trotting deeper inside the house to find the kitchen herself.

Cletus shouted after Fluttershy.
"Third door on your left in the second hall from the entrance!"
Then back to Grey.
"Tell you what. When we go back to your world, no fooling around. We'll get the biggest guns we can find, get everyone we can rallied to our cause and we'll just unload it all on whatever defenses Thomas has in place."
...and that's terrible.
The Fuzzles grinned at Fluttersy and snuggled up to her as she continued to protect them. As Fluttershy walked off they began speaking to her.
"We not bad, we were scared."
"We ran away, scared."
"Steef to blame. He trap us in dark, some of us go crazy."
"Steef coming!"
The Fuzzles dove back into Fluttershy's mane in fear. If she looked she would see a familiar figure striding toward her.
Stranger watched Jack walk off and grunted. Hearing the word fuzzle, Stranger turned his head and watched the interaction between Fluttershy and the rest of the group, growling at the fuzzles he spotted on Fluttershy. He started walking over towards her and called out, "Stay right there."
Shotaro suddenly felt an amazingly tight knot in his chest upon seeing the Fuzzles diving into Fluttershy's mane. He placed his hand over his chest and grabbed it. "HNNNNNNNNNG!" was the only kind of sound he could make before falling onto the floor.

Dodgers crossed his arms, frowning:
"This will not end well for that little pony."
He stared at her for a few minutes before raising his finger:
"Well, enough brooding, we have a problem to solve! And that problem is... why am I here?"
He then looked at Shotaro and began to poke him with a stick:
"Hah! Running gag!"

Cletus shooed Dodgers away and leaned down to pick up the fallen detective.
"Look, Shotaro, I know your girlfriend's adorable but that's a little too much."

"Exactly! You should just give up on this girlfriend and give ME her number!"
He began to poke Cletus with the stick:
"I'm not stopping this running gag until someone answers me why I'm here."

Cletus grabbed the stick.
"Aliens. And if you want to see his girlfriend, well, it was the little pony."

Dodgers grabbed the stick from Cletu's hands:
"That's a really general explanation. And, EW!"
Shotaro soon got up, but still shaken from the heart attack. "She's... not... my girlfriend..." Shotaro grunted before falling.

Cletus caught Shotaro and walked him over to a chair. He offered the same type of bag he gave Subaru earlier, containing a small quantity of greenish powder.
"Could have fooled me, Shamus. I've heard you two talking and I've seen the hugging."

Dodgers accompanied Cletus, and shook his head when he mentioned hugging:
"Yeah, dude, not cool. I mean, you're a human, and she's a... pony... thing... how does that work? I mean, seriously? How do you put yours in hers? Does it fit? Is it even compatible?"
He then raised an eyebrow and took a good look at Cletus:
"I'm talking about kissing!"
"Thank you!" Fluttershy called out to Cletus as she continued to her destination. The fuzzles continued to jabber about a steef and how he trapped them in someplace dark and some of them going crazy......
Before she could start to worry, one of them said to steef was coming and hid inside her mane again. Then an unfamiliar voice telling her to stop. Expecting some sort of giant monster, she turned around.......
And came face-to-face with that strange being she tackled earlier when Subaru arrived. "Oh, hello," she said to the Stranger. "Sorry we didn't meet on better terms," she apologized. "My name's Fluttershy. What's yours?"

Cletus looked at Dodgers, obviously a little wierded out, even after the duck's explanation.
"Yeaaaah... they don't. It's platonic."

"Stranger, call me Stranger. Everyone else does." Stranger reactivated his crossbow, making sure it wasn't point Fluttershy, as he watched the fuzzles carefully. "Now, put tha, vermin down."
"No."
"Please."
"Help us."
Stranger was shocked for a second, they were speaking!
Fluttershy heard the fuzzles' pleas loud and clear. She gave an almost uncharacteristic serious look upon Stranger. "No, I will not," the pegasus calmly said to the bounty hunter, her voice having some slight sharpness in it. "These animals are under my protection. I would very much appreciate it if you lower your weapon and back. Off."

Stranger, who was stunned by Fluttershy's demeanour and the fuzzles, took a step back before he caught himself. He wasn't sure how to feel, he was angry and shocked and... something else he hadnt felt for a long time. He brushed it aside and stared back.
"Those things are, dangerous. They're wild and need to be contained, 'sides I need em."
"I dealt with wild animals before, I know when something is dangerous, and I doubt you need them right now......" Fluttershy said, her voice becoming more and more dangerous. "And I really need to feed these animals right now, so please back off. Now........"
If anyone from Equestria whom knew her personally was there at that moment, they would instantly recognize about she would be unleashing if Stranger did not leave at that moment......

Stranger was beginning too feel strange, almost awkward, and he became acutely aware of a nice smell. He tossed his head and snorted, he was more confused than he had been in a while. Because of this, he missed the signs and continued.
"Listen here lady. Just hand em over."
(OOC: Fluttershy is confusing poor Stranger XD)
Subaru had followed the others, but her head had started aching as soon as she had started moving so she took it slow to not aggravate her pounding skull.
Still, she came across the group in this...standoff of sorts. Flutteryshy and...well...she hadn't gotten the other guy's name actually. She looked between the two, slowly as to not make her headache worse,
“Uh...what's the problem here?”
"A cage?!"
Dodgers took out a comically big wooden stick and proceeded to poke one of the Fuzzles:
"My dear... pony... thing, you might want to build a big vat of acid and just throw them in there! Need I remind you about the sad story of my stomach?"
