Well, obviously, you want to give the black Mage Equip Axes, so she can get the sweet sweet MAG bonus from the Rune Axe!
Srsly, though, probably give whoever gets the rune Axe MP+30%.
And use Flame Rings to heal.
I have a message from another time...Well I'm a bit late, but I'm going to do a run this year. I'm thinking I'll just do a normal run.
Aaaaaaand White Mage. Not gonna complain, though I'm sure some of this stuff is gonna get tricky.

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderGot my Blue Mage to start with this year. Happy as I am, since it's my favorite FF Job, apparently there's no real way to get White Wind and Mighty Guard without a White Mage, unless there's some way to get the confusion spell off that I'm not aware of?
Or I guess if I roll a Beastmaster.
Bard, Chemist, and Dancer can all confuse as well.
And if you get none of those, the Dancing Dagger changes your attack to be dance 50% of the time.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderYup. There is no job combination that prevents you from getting all the Blue magic, though some may need to wait for later in the game.
I have a message from another time...Just got to the Water Crystal and...Summoner.
To be honest, I'm thrilled, Summoner is great! But man, at this rate I'm gonna have a very squishy party.
...Also, this means I've gotten Summoner for all 3 years I've done the Fiesta.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderIs the Main Gauche worth it during the Karnak Castle escape? I've been having trouble getting everything with two Berserkers and two Blue Mages, and no reliable way to heal besides burning an elixir or two.
Honestly? If you're having trouble, leave it. It's a really good weapon for this point in the game, being slightly stronger than a Mithril Sword, with the Elven Mantle passive tacked on for good measure. But once you get a little further it'll be too weak for any of your melee jobs to use. It could possibly be useful as a mage weapon, giving them increased survivability...but they tend to not take much physical damage from the back row anyway, and there are some excellent offensive weapons they could wield instead.
And to top it all off, if you really need it, you get another one for free in world 2.

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderSummoner's a good get. Golem for life.
In the late late game, Phoenix may just be the best revival spell ever. if I remember correctly, it fully restores HP and MP.
I have a message from another time...Yeah, summoner was my main powerhouse when I had my Thief, Summoner, Beastmaster, Dancer run.
The rest of them were...rather quirky. Though Thief did mean I could equip my Dancer with a Lamia crown in world 1, and Beastmaster can 4 shot any boss under 40,000 HP if you're willing to grind for the monsters.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderI'm wondering, can poison axes induce the poison status? If so, then I'm going to try to cheese the Omega fight. Basically, I will have my berserker get a hit on Omega and have my bard hide. Then I will wait for the poison to finish off Omega.
If that doesn't work, I can stop spam Omega with songs while my berserker does the damage.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Have two bards spam stop songs nonstop have a third bard spam speed song until at which point you can safely use heroism.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Beat Omega with the stop spam trick. I just couldn't hit him with those poison axes but a titan's axe was perfectly fine.
I've also defeated Exdeath. During the first phase, I had Faris and Krile sing until I was max level, punch them out of their senses, and had Krile sing Run Boy Run by Woodkid. Faris was the designated healer. Barts was Guts and Lenna was Mystic Knight. On the second phase, I magic lamp'ed the back part and had Lenna break the bottom part. Afterwards, I would have Faris and Lenna swap attacks to keep the two remaining parts at equal HP. I won but Barts died taking 3 meteors and a comet to the face.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Sorry for being late, kinda forgot. It's here now though.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I made a video of the first part of my playthrough: https://youtu.be/e5sieMpxhYw
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.Another year another White Mage beginning. A least I got Summoner this time as my second job. I think this is the first time I've had something other than Berserker for Water since I started these.
Mentioned this over in the general thread, starting off with Black Mage. I'm very glad that this game lets party members share spells — I remember back in FF1 you had to buy 'em per person.
I'm doing a Forbidden run myself. Just hit the Fire crystal.
My first job was Black Mage (Fun! I need to get Flame Rings for healing later on).
My second job was Mystic Knight (Also fun. Lotsa Black Magic elements to go around in this team).
My third job is... Samurai.
Whatever Forbidden mode is doing, it's already done something unexpected.
I hope to not know what Forbidden mode actually does until it comes time for me to enter the Void. Keep it a surprise.
Anyway, Samurai should be neat with this team once I, you know, actually get it. I just wish that I could Spellblade katanas.
I have a message from another time...Made it to my second job: Time Mage, as it turns out! Wizards galore.
I got a basically all melee run so i went to the job fair and bought a chemist. still hilariously melee heavy with a knight, berserker, samurai, lol
Just got my fourth job.
Oracle.
This is shaping up to be a weird one.
I have a message from another time...First time playing FFV and Fourjobfiesta, and its been challenging!
First I got Thief, and boy did I use potions, had 99 stock at all times , then got Time Mage and things were faster but still no dmg output (comet came waaaay later) , so hasteslow and in a boss fight had to drink all my elixirs. Then Ranger opened the weapon options and things got sooo good from there .
Final job? Samurai! At last high dmg output! Boss fights are just giltoss/zeninage galore and they are done in two rounds. Just farm four or five fights for gil and that's it. Finally feels like Im dominating. Also, xfight/rapidfire on 3chars by now, about to finish 2nd world and just got hastega/ xfightrapidfire combo , I think will be just steamrolling from now on I guess.

¯_(ツ)_/¯ RPG Collector and fan.I have the second world unlocked, but am gonna do some money grinding beforehand. I'm gonna need rods, ethers, and money (the greatest weapon) for the next world.
I have a message from another time...
And I rolled a Black Mage with 3 berserkers.
I don't know whether it being an upgrade run is a cruel mercy or not.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.
