Like some really smart troper said, Digimon Really Really REALLY Doesnt do sequels well. So its best that it ends where it did.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Appmon has 52 episodes but they're only planning on airing 39 according to that link. I wonder what is up with that.
ngl seeing Yamato wear the goggles hyped me up a little, also oh boy what's going to happen to Gatomon
New Digimon introduced in Hacker's Memory, some story spoilers in the link since it's a plot-relevant Digimon. It's named Hudiemon and seems to be a new Digivolution for Wormmon.
Just finished watching the last movie.
Tri is NGE now? I'll take it.
Also cool trailer.
Does that mean [spoiler:Tai's]] going to sit a chunk of the next movie out?

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."If anyone in the USA is interested, Fathom Events have announced the dates for the last three movies to hit theatres along with the English titles.
Digimon Adventure tri: Loss will hit theatres on February 1.
Digimon Adventure tri: Coexistence will come out on May 10.
Digimon Adventure tri: Future will come out on September 20.
The following link is to the Fathom Events webpage for the three movies as the source for the information, along with posters for the three movies: https://www.fathomevents.com/series/digimon-adventure-tri
Wait, how many movies are there? I saw the first three(first one through On Demand, last two I won't say... how).
Once I see the last few, I'll give my overview of it. As a person who grew up with the dub, it wasn't what I expected. At the very least, I was hoping they'd call out the attacks, as obviously trying to redraw all the digivolution sequences would be severely hard. Was hoping for the old music, but yeah. I'll say more beyond this later on, though.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol. When tri was first announced as a film series, the amount of movies was stated to be six. Whether or not more get announced is currently unknown. We will more than likely just get the six movies.
Tri will more than likely be the six movies. However, if they're profitable, Digimon Adventure 04 could be a thing at some point.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThis is probably just my inner pedant speaking, but it kind of annoys me when people refer to the other entries in Digimon Adventure with the same naming convention as "02" because the title is actually supposed to be a reference to the year 2002.

Well, we have Digimon Adventure, 02 and Tri. While 02 may not have intended it, there's an obvious progression.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyToo bad Adventure 01 is actually a manga, or you might be on to something there.
Which reminds me, damn V-Tamer 01 was really freaking cool!

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Speaking of V-Tamer 01, here's an interesting interview they did with its author, Tenya Yabuno on the writing of that manga that just got translated a few days ago.
Also from the same translator, there's an interview with Kenji Watanabe, the designer of several Digimon that was done for the 20th anniversary.
Speaking of V-Tamer, Viz might consider an official localisation if there is enough interest.
And remember, digimon story hacker's memory is launching tomorrow/friday.
Currently on chapter 7 of Hacker's Memory and holy shit was the Class C cheating case dark even if it was revealed to just be a simulation, like I think the only thing that ever reached that level of darkness was the virtual doll case from Cyber Sleuth.
My general impression of the game so far is better then Cyber Sleuth both in story (the Central Theme of memory is really strong and much better handled then Cyber Sleuth) and gameplay (acceleration is a godsend and makes Digifarm cases so much easier and Domination Battles are really fun). Cyber Sleuth provided a foundation for Hacker's Memory to improve on and has generally succeeded at most of it.
The only quibbles I have is I can't accessorize all my Digimon because most accessories are locked behind Playstation Plus and the Wall Crack tier consolidation is dumb and they shouldn't have changed it.
I saw the dub of Loss in theaters. I can confirm that Butterfly is in the dub. Also, looks like Biyomon and her digivolved forms have a different voice actress. Most of the in training forms also sound different. The voice they used for Hackmon was deep. I don't know what other differences I can tell without going into spoilers.
So what are the odds of Tamers getting a sequel?
According to Konaka on his twitter there're currently no plans for a Tamers follow-up besides the upcoming drama CD they're making for the Tamers blu-ray boxset that comes out this April which shows what happens to the kids in 2018.
Like that one wise troper said, Digimon is excruciatingly terrible at sequels. Tamers is best left alone.

Anyway, those are very wise words of wisdom!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I still like Digimon Tri fuck y'all
I just feel it as an anime would work better.
Young Hunters had nowhere to go but down since even the second half of Xros Wars had a fast decline in ratings compared to the first half.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
Yay for an Appmon dub! ^^ I wonder if there will be a second series for it or maybe another new series.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
