"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.edited 21st Nov '16 5:12:13 PM by VeryMelon
Once again a really good installment.
"Dammit, Patamon, I'm not losing you for the 4th time!" That line made me laugh way more than it should've.
So is episode 8 of Applimon not up yet?
One Strip! One Strip! The news ladies never disappoint.
In Tri Abridged the ladies from the news are recurring characters and they have some pretty hilarious gags including one of them being used as a temporary vessel by "God"

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Slightly but I'll explain more, basically in the 3 Tri abridged series there are these two female news anchors who are constantly insulting and competing with each other during their live segments. It's hilarious.

Tri Abridged is the only thing I've seen regarding the Tri films.
The actual films themselves are good, and get better with each one.
Watch SymphogearThis, the actual Tri films are really good, even with some flaws here and there.
The Abridged version is interesting in that it serves as a parody along with handling a few issues better.

I'm sure the actual films are fine, but I'm not interested in seeing them.
Understandable, it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Yeah, it's definitely one of those Better Than Canon Abridged Series.
Damn I forgot to comment on the previous episode of Appmon but I managed to catch up. This episode really reminds me of those types of Youtubers who do a bunch stupid stuff and they get alot of visits. Also I think the fight with the Appmon of the week had a reference to Sharknado?
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Appmon episode 8.
Poor Haru has to be the mediator for Eri and Torajirou and hey first episode where they didn't need to rely on Gatchmon for a solution!
I'm a bit surprised that Musimon and Torajirou were the first duo to have a falling out, I thought Dokamon or Gatchmon would've had the argument and make up with their partner plot first.
whatshername's plan was really dumb if she wasn't doing it For the Evulz
Something I've been thinking about is that the Appli Drives all appeared to push their user to becoming a role or persona that they admired, Haru to be a main character, Eri to be an idol and Torajirou to become Astra so I wonder what the Appli Drive for Rival McEdgy pushed him to become.

Dunno about abridged tri being better than cannon, i'd argue that the first abdridged movie managed to be better than reunion simply because that movie was so stilted, but movie 2 and especially movie 3 were better in the original version. They tried to force their own ideas and jokes to much in this movie, it would have been better if they cut down most of the jokes into quick gags and kept the plot intact, because even within the movie what they did already was a mess let alone for the next ones. I would say the best joke they came up with was the one with maki and daigo's donut.
As for appmon episode 8, i don't think anyone at this point can't argue that asuka and musimon aren't the best partners so far, even though they had the least amount of episodes. Best dynamic, most depth (for both digimon and appmon), and really most fun. Eri by comparison was a bit of a disappointment so far.
The Abriged being better the canon is strange because the 3rd episode seem to cut out even more character moments and kinda filled the plot in with things that may or may not be relevant!
35 year old white man.I wouldn't say it's better than canon, it just kinda fixes things that may not have been obvious in the original and were there but wasn't executed as well and left some people unsatisfied. Like Tai's whole deal in the first movie after the Digimon attacks for example.
So I took a look at all three abridged episodes over the course of the past few days.
I agree they pushed their own jokes a little too hard.
That being said, TK completely dropping his wacky persona when Patamon gets infected was a good way to show the seriousness of the situation (though it made it much more obvious in universe).
A lot of other stuff was mixed (the reporters thing was pretty funny), some good, some bad, but over all I got a few laughs.
Edit: It also made the digi-rap sound cool (or at least hilarious) for the briefest of moments.

One Strip! One Strip!Synopsis for ''Loss'' is out: Translation though. And pics of the movie is in the link.
After Meicoomon’s rampage, the reboot happened. Taichi and co left to the Digital world, and left behind Meiko who’s in distress.
The partner Digimon they reunited with no longer have the memories they shared together. Even so, they can rebuild their bond once again; the Chosen Children reach out their hands and their Digimon respond… except for Piyomon, who, even evolved into Child level, still shows cautiousness.
“I already told you I don’t remember anything about the past!”
She distrusts Sora’s kindness, who always thinks about others before herself. Watching Sora who’s hurt, Taichi and Yamato can’t find the appropriate way to talk to her.
Further down in the Digital World… Before everyone was consulting the problem, Meicoomon appears suddenly, then disappears. She wonders why she still has her original memory, and is looking for Meiko with tears in her eyes. The Chosen Children witness this, and are determined to stay in the Digital World to save Meicoomon. However, a certain man who followed Dark Masters appears in front of them.
At the same time in the Real World, Nishijima is informed that Himekawa is missing. During his research, he finds out, up until now what’s behind Himekawa’s action, and the certain intention she’s been hiding from him. Which it connects to an affair in the past that determines the destiny of the two of them.
Right now, the adventure is once again evolving.
Thanks to this, the sypnosis confirms that the Machinedramon in the poster is the same Machinedramon from the first season. And poor Sora. With Sora originally being cautious with Piyomon, now Piyomon is cautious of Sora.
Edit: I have to edit the translation a couple times, I am not so sure if this is the right one. Though it is the only one that makes sense the most.

Huh. Wonder if they're going to announce a new anime to run alongside the current anime at the end or if it'll be an announcement for a new V-Pet and/or game.
