Hello Albert...is re-reading chemistry and English textbook...

-several more books are laid on the table-

(Marcia curiously picks up a book.)

-The book is titled Entry to University Level Engineering: General Chemistry I by A. Grewall, S. Sendler-

(Marcia starts skimming through the chemistry book. Anything she recognize?)

-It is, by all accounts, a regular, too-pricy, chemistry textbook that focuses more on the engineering applications of chemicals-

-covering topics such as mass, measurement, and mixtures, up to organic chemistry and industrial chemistry-

-the concepts are explained in technical terms, but its simple enough that even an uneducated reader on the topic of sciences will have a rudimentary understanding of chemistry at its simplest; mixing thetiniest building blocks of the universe, and try to make somrthing of the results-

-Marcia may recognize names, such as alcohols, organic-derived chemicals and their non-scientific names such as wolfsbane, sageroot, or lilies. If she understands the formulas and numbers, she may realize that this book actually have many similiarities with the underlying principles of alchemy; mixing stuffs up to obtain a result-

-the book starts out easy enough; basic and simplest concepts of all, beginning with uncertainties, and the history of atom; from the early models of Thomson, then to Rutherford, and finally Bohr's model of the atom, with the electrons circulating a center of protons and neutrons-

-afterward, the periodic tables; why it is arranged in columns and periods, what are the base and transition metals, as well as the noble gases and their unreactiveness-

@Liman Albert: Learn something new every day, Eh? Yeah, my Dad was the main doctor, but he was equally good at science. By the way, getting the Talk from my Dad was much more awkward.

-looks up from her book- The Talk?

Marcia: @Albert: Hey, Albert... Uh, how are you doing?

Marcia: @Liman: Oh, okay... J-just ummm thinking about the Tragedy of the Commons right now... Uh, how can I prevent it from happening with my youth potion?

@Liman Albert: The birds and the bees? @Marcia Albert: I'm on probation.

@Marcia Tragedy of Commons? Like...resources shortage from rapid depletion of it?

@Albert Birds? Bees? ...What about them?

@Liman Albert: I was way off, thought you were 14, at most. Anyways, be grateful. The sex talk is a rite of passage for both parents and children. Of awkwardness. @Marcia Albert: Eh, I'm over it.
