I don't know what to think about that...the only thing that comes to mind that I could think to replace it is a pic of Oswald with a big question mark over it.
Maybe a pic of The Comedian on the grassy knoll from the Watchmen movie? That's the only one I can think of.
I'm not sure how clear that would be as a still shot. I mean, I followed what was happening when I saw the movie, but I was familiar both with the character and with JFK conspiracy theories. And there was the context of showing him getting shot before panning over to the Comedian.

How about a pic of the grassy knoll◊ with the words "insert here" and a arrow pointing to the conspiracy spot?
Please. This just needs a slightly snarky caption, though I think the big "MAGIC BULLET" label in the middle of the image kinda gives it away as it is.
Magic bullet isn't snarky. It's what conspiracy buffs use to refer to the bullet that killed Kennedy and wounded Connaly. That path is what happened* . This trope is usually about the "real" assassin, usually shooting from the grassy knoll, so the pic of the path of Oswald's bullet is kinda useless as a trope demonstrator.

Please.I don't mind the current pic so much. A caption might help, I guess.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Bump...any other thoughts?
Clock is set. Any objections to my suggestion above?
Meh, I'm fine just leaving it.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Current pic is fine
Grassy knoll one
If you eat a live frog in the morning, nothing worse will happen to either of you for the rest of the day.I like the grassy knoll idea.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanClock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
But it strikes me as a little, well, wrong that our page image is basically an outright lie without any qualification.
If we don't change it (and I can see how it could be considered a legit example of conspiracy theories), can we at least put in a caption of some sort that puts it into the right context?
And yes, as I say in my title, I'm fully aware that I'm probably being oversensitive here; feel free to tell me the right answer is "no."
