Well, the music industry has fought used CD sales a lot, and the publishing industry's loving the fact that DRM'ed ebooks can't be resold.

E-books are working well but music is still a lost fight. Sure there are iTunes and streaming music, but the key to their success is easier access and lower prices, not restrictive barriers on their usage. Music C Ds are still declining and this is a trend that's not going to stop.
