I know sounds lame, but if they help you they are good, if they are bad they are bad.

Antidepressants aren't bad by any means. They won't work for everyone, but the ones I've used in the past definitely helped. It won't cure your depression, but it helps kill the buffer between where you are now and how to actually make stuff better.
