One that I know of is The Future is Wild, it's speculation of how things might go in our future, and it looks like it's connected to a TV special.
Worldbuilding projects get into this sort of thing. You might get some good responses from the worldbuilding forum here on TV Tropes.

I was wondering if my fellow tropers were aware of any speculative evolution websites with illustrations and/or descriptions of their various species.
For example:
The Speculative Dinosaur Project Wherein the authors tried to depict a world where the meteor hadn't wiped out the dinosaurs.
There is also the Snaiad "project" by Nemo Ramjet where he detailed the fauna of the planet Snaiad.
As far as i know both website are down though. Or if not down, then stopped updating.
Also, sorry if this is in the wrong board.
