I still think Asura would be a good unit, with his destructor form being 5xl (Star sized), as his destructor form is supposed to dwarf this thing. Which has been measured using the earth and moon as being ten times as tall as the sun.

¿The Wii is Region locked? Well mine is hacked and the only problem when playing PAL games is that they are in black and white unless i use a more Modern TV

Now that you mention it When i played SRW J i kinda feelt that the G Gundam plot was a little Demoted To Extra and they did not mention the Gundam Fight until Stage 41 (Trough it was funny how the SEED characters reacted to it)

Since i watched a Asura's Wrath Playthrough i would say ¡Hell freaking Yeah! But i wonder what anime could make a good combination with its plot.

EDIT: Speaking of new series There is a SRW fighting game spin-off called Battle Robot Damashii wich has some series wich for now are not in a main SRW those series are Rinne No Lagrange, Zegapain, Stardriver, Code Geass Akito The Exiled, and Armored Core V, (The last one is a Game but it counts anyway)

A/A Portable completely glosses over the Gundam Fight too, and largely uses the berserk allenby and Devil Gundam plots

MX is also Devil Gundam. Havent played Impact

the issue with using Gundam Fight is plotwise you'd have to base the whole plot around it

Gundam Fight is always glossed over. Game won't really work if it isn't since the whole point of Gundam Fight is no active wars, which goes against just about every other robot show.

Plus Gundam fight would be a bunch of duel bosses, and SRW is adverse to that because of how enemy and player units are built statwise.

Usually anyway, they have managed a few by playing around with it.

Yeah, if you want the premier G Gundam experience in SRW, get MX or Impact. I know MX has a whole bunch of units that you don't normally see (Fuunsaiki and the Mandala Gundam come to mind), and also actually finishes the story, infested space colony (or its equivalent) and all. and Impact has 99 stages, so I'd be very surprised if the G Gundam plot wasn't part of it. Heck, they managed to shove in all of Dangaioh and Dancougar! You just don't get this level of commitment anymore!

Wait... ¿¡Impact has 99 Stages!? i did not know that and to think Impact uses the same engine as Alpha Gaiden

I'm busily fact-checking my statement since I can't recall where I learned this, but it wouldn't be surprising. Impact was an updated re-release of the entire SRW Compact 2 trilogy. It likely needed to use the PS 1-era Alpha Gaiden engine and assets in order to fit all the content in.

Also realised that it doesn't really have big representation for G-Gundam, going by our own trope page for it. Oh well!

EDIT: yeah there's 101 stages (though you do need 50 skill points in order to play the last two), not including any potential route splits. I'm not sure if Impact even has any real ones, since it has a weird non-linear stage progression.

Honestly, I think the Gundam Fight arc would be kinda dull. It's just Domon out there in his Shining Gundam fighting the putz of the week. Maybe it could be compressed into an arena where he fights however many guys in a row (with healing in between), or a series of stages where something happens after the fight that draws everyone else out, but there's no way it's going to be an arc of its own. SRW does duels from time to time, but there would be plenty of complaints if they had five of them back to back with nothing else.

It seems that most of the information is being compliled on japanese wikis and the akurasu users are slowly translating stuff from there for us.

Never in my life have I needed so badly to know this goddamn language. I want to help but I can't.

I should also point out that we won't get any true, concrete information on secret things until this game's "perfect bible" is released, which won't be for a few months. I'm using that time to play through the Gundam route of Jigoku-hen, since I left it till last.

...Of course if you've already completed that game in full then you're SOL ' 3'

It's an acronym for "Shit Out of Luck" if you must know. It basically means that there's no hope or advice (or indeed, luck) left for you, and you'll just have to fend for your yourself on that matter.

Anyway, I've found a bunch of data on the Z-Crystal mechanic; it grants effects similar to the "systems" you could buy in the previous game, growing from grade 1 up to grade 5 as you feed it Z-chips. Grades 1-3 proceed linearly, but at 4 and 5 you have to make a choice between 3 options. No idea if the effects carry over into a new game +, but it'd be cool if they did.
