I wonder who came up with the term Dynamic Kills (the move's animation will change when you manage to deplete the enemy's health to zero) when most of the time the enemy pilot would escape just in time. I believe the Japanese term for that is Finisher Version.

OE was pretty much an experiment to see how much BN could get away with ripping people off. DLC upgrades, DLC to make the game easier, limits on stuff without DLC to force you to buy the DLC out of frustration. etc.

It didn't help that the game got progressively worse as the chapters were on. The first 3 or so chapters were pretty good, but since everyone had comitted to buying the whole game by then, they promptly stopped trying, and 90 percent of the rest of the game was filler with original enemy monsters. By chapter 6 they'd clearly stopped caring and were only still working on it so people that bought chapters in advance didn't have to be refunded.

Now whether this was intentional or not is up for debate. It's speculated that they intentionally tried to tank OE as a way to get BN off their back about DLC, since they'd clearly been pushing that on them for awhile.

The only two good things OE gave the community were Wild Flowers and Hello Darwin!, and even then they'd be a hundred times better in literally any other soundfont.

[up] The entire game was digital release and split into eight chapters, so you either bought them one by one or all at once. (I think Cybuster was a pre-order bonus?)

About a dozen units were DLC on top of that. Some of them range from meh (2 B-list Zoid characters) to wierd (Lelouch's season 2 mech was an upgrade, but it lost C.C. as a subpilot and she had two of the rarest spirits in the game. No, she can't pilot something else. That would make too much sense), to rage inducing. (The Nu Gundam and the Sazabi. Yes, Amuro goes through the entire game in the RX-78 otherwise).

The worst part was EC though. Which was basically a second currency that was required for upgrades along with cash. The problem was EC gain was ass normally (you could pay real money to double your EC gain for a set amount of time). So eventually you'd have a ton of cash and nothing to do with it because you're always low on EC. Yes, they made the Luck spirit useless.

Also. Item crafting! Yes, I'm serious. Just about every enemy dropped vendor trash (and rarely, really basic parts). So you had to farm items just to get parts that do anything noticeable. Oh, item crafting costs EC too. I wish I was kidding at this point.

Also, like mentioned above, 3/4ths of the game devolves into fighting the most boring original enemies ever spawned.

[up] Since i havent Watched Seed Destiny Yet ¿Why do they Call Kira 'Jesus Yamato' And is treated As Some Sort of Memetic Messiah? (Out Of-Universe As far as i know)

Also this is not the first Time something like that Happened in Alpha Gaiden Tetsuya (Great Mazinger) Said to Relena (Gundam Wing) that Absolute Pacifism is Not an Answer and Throwing away the Weapons of Everybody would not achieve Peace

It's done out of irony. Kira and Lacus had the whole Omniscient Morality License deal going on; Their worldview was but one of many and should have been discussed in-universe more thoroughly, but the japanese public liked Kira more than Shinn and the writing staff/direction also liked him, so he essentially stole the spotlight from the character we started the show with (Shinn) Thus Kira and the rest of the Three Ships Alliance were shoehorned into the role of unabashed heroes who are, like Jesus in the New Testament, the only ones who are right about anything. It's completely counter to the values that the Gundam franchise had set out beforehand.

Z was the only time they even attempted to paint Kira in a bad light (and only on one story path, and even then he ends up right in the end anyway).

K followed SC 2's method of Kira is right and Shinn is hiliariously wrong, though it wrapped up the Destiny plot ASAP as if saying "The plot is dumb so let's just get to the point where you can have everyone." L meanwhile changed it by simply removing the part where Kira and Shinn are hostile to each other, having Kira sit out most of the plot, and Shinn decide to support him in the final battle through his own growth.

But Kira and Lacus will always be "the good guys" by virtue of them not having a plan to oppress either Natural's or Coordinators, and not using a giant death laser to enforce it. There's no conceivable way for SRW to end up siding with Durandal in the end, that'd like backing the Titan's or Zeon. The only question is whether or not Shinn turns on his former side or not.

Not really. You ally with Neo Zeon in D because other bad guys are ruining the earth worse, and you need their help stopping them, but it's not as if Amuro decided Char was right and wants to help him asteroid drop the earth.

They've never had an evil route.

Closest is in 64 when you can join OZ for a brief period, but you end up leaving them before the game is over.

And I guess on special disk where one of the sidestories is you playing as the villians for 5 stages, but that doesn't really count.

Theres also the few stages in SRW Alpha 3 for Selena where you work for ZAFT for a few stages, but once again, that falls apart rather quickly and Selena was technically spying on them the whole time.

We've had mechs from visual novels, other video games, and action figures, so I can't see why live-action would be off-limits, as long as it comes from Japan. No sane company from another country would license their property for something that almost certainly wouldn't be released there. There are probably many other reasons why that would never happen.

It did get a manga localization, but it's nowhere near popular.

But yeah, don't expect to see west-originating series present in SRW. PacRim will just have to run free in our dreams.

As long as we're talking about things that won't happen, I really really want Attack On Titan to appear tongue
