Interesting idea. Plus, if you ever decide to go back and write an in depth version, you can just chalk any inconsistency to the girl's miss interpretting/ hearing/understanding things.

Oh! Thought just occured! What if it turns out that Nanoha knows all the details about it because she read Yuuno's after action report but the entire boys club swore her to secrecy?

Have no idea where that came from.

Nah, Yuuno's the one guy who wasn't there when it went down. He and Nanoha were on Oa introducing Sakura to the Guardians. Though I have been considering that idea too. Maybe because all the boys were incommunicado and people wanted to be sure they weren't under mind control– again– they agreed to tell her the whole story as long as she kept it secret, and so she can test for mind control, possession, vampirism and assorted sundry. I'm thinking it's the groups' equivalent of an urban legend or a conspiracy theory, with Haruna always saying it was all a cover for a huge man-orgy, etc.

Question, who all was at that boys club event? I had just assumed that everyone was there until you mentioned Yuuno wasn't.

Also, how did the events of Tsukihime play out without Arcied? Did Roa use a different method to become a Dead Apostle, did he even become an apostle? Does Ciel still have her immortality via glitch?

Boys Club Participants were:

  • Artemis
  • Tuxedo Kamen
  • Haruka
  • Yuuto
  • Gilgamesh
  • Assassin
  • Lancer
  • Kuro
  • Shiro
  • Zafira
  • Chrono
  • Negi
  • Kotaro
  • Sakurazaki Setsuna
  • Syaoran

Ciel still has her immortality glitch, and often uses the alias 'Karin'. Roa became a vampire through the True Ancestor Evangeline, the vessel of Arcueid, the current Type-Ultimate One of the Moon and Sailor Moon's other half. He had met Evangeline, and, like Yue/Yukito in the far future, he became attracted to her due to the power of the moon she radiated. He attempted to get close to her, manipualted her, betrayed her, and was sucked dry for his trouble, unknowingly turning Evangeline down the path of being a dark loner.

There is no such thing as Touta or Dana.

His body was destroyed by an alliance of Jason Blood and Vandal Savage during one of the latter's heroic phases, turning him into the body-hopping vampire he would later become. Other beings that have had the honor of destroying him have been Zelretch (who thought he was annoying), Abraham Lincoln, a time-traveling Daidouji Tomoyo, an Archaeologist from Gorilla city, Type-Mercury, at least 3 people named Constantine, and one really random death where his body was vaporized by a meteor strike. Ciel is the 37th incarnation of Roa, and the possessed SHIKI was the 39th. The 38th was a girl in Washington who was unfortunately hit by a van before he managed to manifest.

You do stuff like that in a super-hero world, you take your chances.

Karin and Ciel aren't very much alike in personality, though. They are in looks and powers, though, so if you ever do a Crisis on Two Worlds/Crime Syndicate storyline, maybe Karin should be the parallel Earth's Ciel? And Jinbei might be that universe's Nagi, who gained immortality but never had a child...

Am very tempted to make the van the Mystery Machine... very tempted...

Might have to reread the Tsukihime manga. While the chapter itself will be full of misconceptions and plot holes, I want to know for myself how it really happened beyond "Shiki makes everyone his harem, excepts instead of Arcueid there's Satsuki". Right now, I'm going with Shiki finding a vampirized Satsuki and promising to help her become human again, mistakenly believing the old myth that killing her sire will make her human again, letting me adapt parts of the Arcueid route. Unfortunately for Satchin, SHIKIROA is not that kind of vampire...

New attempt at starting a new chapter, specifically the Boy's Club Tsukihime arc. Or at least, a second-hand take on it, so that it's short.

The question came up, as it sometimes tended to, while the girls were hanging around Evangeline's resort.

"What the heck happened that week?” Asuna said out of nowhere, as if merely continuing a conversation that had been put on pause.

At a nearby table, Haruna's head came up, grinning. “Well, obviously it was– ”

"It was not a non-stop man-orgy, Haruna,” Yue interrupted. “We've established that. It's the one thing any of the boys will give a definite answer about..”

Haruna smirked. “Well of course they'd say that, wouldn't they?”

"Man-orgy?” Diana was, as of the last few weeks, the new girl. She was apparently a magical princess, which made her a Mahou Shoujo by default, as was the established literary tradition.

“Oh, don't get them started,” Dearche grumbled from where she was getting ready to cook something. Ayaka generously kept the pantry fully stocked, such that the girls were all fighting a losing battle to empty it. Eternal Sailor Moon and Saber gave their best shot every time, but it seemed like it was never enough. “It's this thing they're obsessed with. Apparently the boys and a few girls disappeared for a week some time back, and when they returned, they wouldn't tell anyone what they'd been doing beyond 'hunting vampires'. So of course all these nosy people want to find out what it was all about.”

It was one of the great mysteries within the United Magical Girl (And Boys) Association, among the absolutely feminine, at least, right up there with “How the Hell are Green Lantern-chan and Black Archer immune to Negi Springfield?”. Sailor Uranus got an honorary membership to the Boys Club from being butch (Negi aside. Everyone but Green Lantern-chan was whatever for Negi), Black Archer had her own personal little sexuality that shaded deeply enough into boyishness (perverted, adolescent boyishness, at that) to disqualify her from pure femininity, and Angel GA Rd was in that tranquil island of asexuality in the middle of it all, her not-that-deeply-hidden glass closet preferences not withstanding. All three were keeping mysteriously, frustratingly, absolutely silent on the matter, at least among their technically-fellow girls.

From the two with dedicated partners, the matter was a stone wall of futility that even their usually effective wiles made no mark against, though Konoka and Michiru did try, really they did. Haruka just smiled and said nothing. Setsuna didn't even do that, merely lapsing into cool, dignified silence, no matter how much her face went red as Ojou-sama begged, wheedled, poked, prodded, whined, pouted, hinted, cajoled, demanded, and outright asked nicely. Kuro smirked and took the opportunity to be an irritating troll.

They knew Green Lantern-kun knew the story, and likely Green Lantern-chan did as well. They'd been the ones to make sure the boys weren't under mind control or possessed… again. A few suspected Evangeline knew something, but they didn't dare ask, not even Asuna. Perhaps it had been the way she had been so not herself for the week or so following the incident, staring through everything as if she were a statue. It had been downright creepy.

The new girls who'd joined due to the incident weren't much help, though they were a lot more forthcoming. Satsuki-san had been very descriptive at how she'd nearly been hunted down and killed. She didn't hold it against the boys. You didn't take chances with vampires, and while she was now on friendly terms with the boys, she and Assassin were still wary around one another. Ciel-san, for her part, had been close-mouthed about her own encounters, but grudgingly allowed they'd been useful in her mission (“Except for that blond asshole, he nearly blew up the city twice!”). Akiha and the two maids were even less helpful, and the cat succubus met the boys' silence for silence, though she avoided Black Archer like the plague, which was only sensible for anyone girl who had ever met the loli.

Diana, the newest blood, didn't know the story, and a small crowd, mostly Ala Alba Auxiliary girls without Pactios (yet, they were always quick to insist) quickly gathered to tell her about it.

“It's like this,” the pink-haired one who'd proudly introduced herself as Dancing Queen but everyone else called Misa, “The boys were having one of their get-togethers– ”

“Man-orgy get-togethers,” Haruna insisted.

“– man-orgy get-togethers with Light Ferry, who was the new guy at the time,” Misa corrected herself, grinning widely and salaciously. Diana had met sisters who smiled like that. It generally wasn't often, and sisters often moved them away as far as possible from her, which was always too bad, since they were often pleasant and had such funny stories. “So they went to Misaki city, which wasn't far from where Light Ferry lived, since they didn't want to be seen together. They'd done karaoke– have you done karaoke? No? We'll have to take you some time– and were deciding whether they'd go back home or party on through the night when they herd that someone was committing serials murders all around town, but there bodies didn't have any blood in them. So they figured there were vampires around and decided to go after them.”

“Can I just point out there's something seriously wrong with everyone being okay with the boys basically taking a night out kill people?” Chisame said. Diana figured she was some kind of cursed oracle, doom to speak wisdom no one heeded. “I mean, vampires are people too, right? They're not like those Invader things that only look like people?”

“Depends on the type, I think,” Kaleido Ruby said. “I remember my sister saying something like that once. Besides, they probably didn't break any of the vampire regulation laws, or else Green Lantern-chan would have arrested them.”

The AA girls paused. “There are vampire regulation laws?” Misa said incredulously.

“Sure there are. They're like self-defense laws, only with more lethal force, and less widely known,” Illya said. “Green Lantern-chan told me about them once. They're sort of buried in the back becauce they're a tacit admission vampires exist and the government still likes to pretend they don't.”

“I find such systematic racism laws disturbing,” Chisame said.

Yeah, vampire regulation laws would count as rascist.

[up]Yes, how dare people discriminate against people-eating monsters. Racism everywhere.

I don't think Chisame would be the first one to speak against laws that 'discriminate' highly dangerous beings. Girl was openly prejudicious against people who just happened to be different, and although she's had character development ever since, she's also very stubborn against showing she's had it unless she's almost forced to.

Vampires are, as a rule of thumb, dangerous predators who pose a threat to everyone around them. I'm kind of against romantizing the vampire concept save for very specific cases, because at best you end up with a Hotel Transylvania and at worst with a Twilight; and it took even someone as gifted and powerful as Evangeline A LOT to beat her bloodlust, and that's in-universe. When you shift them as a majority from murderous stalkers to misunderstood victims of HUMAN PRRRREEEJUDICEEEEE, you stop having vampires and just have vampire lookalikes who miss the point. These aren't just humans who happen to look different- they are beings who as a default resort to killing and slaving others.

The 'tragic' good vampire is tragic exactly because he/she is the exception to their race and doesn't fit in either world.

A 'vampire regulation law', for the most part, is a sensible thing in an universe where such things exist, and Chisame's smart enough to know that.

So far, in-universe, Chisame's only direct contact with vampires have been Evangeline, who's her classmate; Yumizuka Satsuki, who's a bit weird and sex-obsessed, but basically a nice girl; Ciel if you count her, who can be a bit intense but is usually pretty friendly and into cosplay; and Sion is canonically a rare personally who can get along with anyone. She's not a front-line fighter and hasn't seen the other kind of vampire herself, the more common, predatory one. Her perception of the demographics via her empirical encounters are a bit skewed, you might say.

Yes, she's met Sion and her lover Roast Beef. The reason the boys don't like to talk about the Tsukihime arc is because it happened during Tatari. The Boy's Club weekend is basically everyone route of Tsukihime, Melty Blood, Melty Blood Act Cedanza/Act 2, Melty Blood Actress Again, and Melty Blood X all happening in one week, within days or even hours of one another. They don't like talking about because they themselves have a hard time making sense of everything.

Something I saw brought up in a FSN/Girl Genius crossover that could apply in this verse:

The reason why most Nasuverse spells eventually wear off is because they are imposing the caster's will on the natural order of the world, and sooner or later Gaia will notice that something unnatural is going on and reassert itself. But can the will of a planet apply itself if the Magus isn't on a planet? How much influence does Gaia have in space?

The Watchtower could be a very popular research facility for the Magi of the UMGA.

One little problem, though:

In Earth, magecraft is pretty much impose our will to nature, so to speak. In other words: rewrite the script. Rewrite.

In outer space, what we write on?

That's what UBW is for. It's a contained mini-world overwriting the real world, after all. It might be easier in space, where you overwrite nothing.

Problem is, it might not fade away, because there's nothing to undo it...

Though I tend to ignore details like that, due to it clashing with too many of the other canons I'm using.

Yay! 3rei is confirmed! They altered the ending of 2wei a little, but it's not really going to change much except make what happens in 3rei's start more shocking and abrupt. Plus all the slice of life episodes are put in a good context. Really, each season has had a good character focus. The first was focused of Illya, the second on Kuro, and the third on Miyu.
