Well, it did have the advantage of the Wii's install base.
The sales are Super > Origami King > Sticker Star > TTYD > 64 > Color Splash, IIRC.

Yeah that checks out. Will be interesting to see how the TTYD remake does.

Saddens me Sticker Star outsold 64 and TTYD.
It’s a funny reminder that often games can be carried by the prestige of their previous outings. Like how the best selling Megaman Battle Network game is unanimously agreed to be the worst one by a wide margin
It probably also has to do with the 3DS being a more successful console compared to the 64 and Gamecube—if more people have the system it's on they're more likely to pick up the game.
Sticker Star got good reviews too, 75 from Metacritic, 8.3 from IGN and 4/5 from Gamestop.

Yeah a few people caught an old post where they had photoshopped their name into Tears of the Kingdom's credits. After they were caught for that they started deleting posts and privated their account.
