Bumping this up, and I finally got the chance to play the story from start to finish.

Woah.

IF YOU EVEN HAVE A SLIGHT INTEREST ON PLAYING THE GAME DON'T READ THIS, IT WILL MAKE PLAYING THE GAME AND ADVANCING TRHOUGH THE STORY NOT SURPRISING.

Plot resume and ending explanation: Every major story mission in coma world is related to a crime in real world. After you get all the "proof" and capture Jericho's gang members, Tanner starts having nightmares, which includes things like the world freezing, getting away from multiple Jerichos and some charactes in City Missions talk to him directly. Tanner wakes up and tries to get off the bed, but falls and Jones puts him on the bed again. Then Jericho uses the Shift powers to THROW CARS at you. After you beat that part, Tanner discovers Jericho's Batman Gambit of making people think there's a cyanide gas bomb in the city to distract them from a jailbreak in the city's prison. Coma Tanner screams to real Tanner to wake up, and the Final Boss Battle against Jericho in coma world starts. Tanner realizes that since it's his head, he can change the rules with an awesome phrase: "The highway...on my head. The cars...on my head. Jericho...on my head. OK, new rules, I'm throwing some GODDAMNED cars too!" And now you can use Shift to throw any vehicle to Jericho (he can still throw cars at you, which makes it very hard to beat on your first ten tries). After to "kill him", Tanner hears the Arc Words "Eyes on the city" and we see a flashback of all the times it's been said, wakes up for real. Now real Tanner asks Jones for the keys of his car. Little funny moment: Jones comments on John not wearing pants, but gives him the keys to his Camaro. Then John goes into the city and the "bomb" explodes, being nothing more than smoke. John finds Jericho at the prison and the Final Boss Battle against Jericho in real world starts: John chases Jericho and cals for backup; since the bomb has exploded, only Jones is able to come in. John follows Jericho into a warehouse, and they do a final car joust when BAM! Jones crashes into Jericho and captures them. Game over, credits, etc.

It's confusing because I don't remember it very well, but damnit it was intense.

[up] OMGMOMGOMGOMG! Finally! One question: Why the strange spelling? If you want to avoid confusion, just call it "The Driver Saga" or something like that.

[up]The only way I know how to pothole one word page names when making a sentence is to capitalize two letters, otherwise I would normally just use {{ }}.
