Thumped: Wow. That was rude. Too many of this kind of thump will bring a suspension. Please keep it civil.

^ So, it is better to revert to a more primitive time (while not removing the issues) then instead to encourage positive reform? Interesting.

Yeah, cuz millions of those people are actually responsible for their country. They're making a conscious choice there, and not just being manipulated by the ruling class who has all the strings of power.

But as already mentioned, they ARE investing in alternatives.

Plastic is made from oil, so there will always be a demand for it.

Plastic can be made from biomass now.

Fight smart, not fair.

Please tell me the thumped post didn't say what I think it said...

The thumped post basically said that Islam has proven itself uncapable of peaceful interaction with "civilization". Which is exactly why I hollered it.

Actually, I'm not sure if it's actually at all productive to just go and re-state what was said in the original post.

But on the other hand, at least anyone can see that this post obviously did deserve to be thumped and this might, for some (maybe someone's lurking the fora and learning the rules in the process?) serve as a definite sign of what is not allowed.

It will discourage posting stuff like this further. I hope.

I am suprised that you were thinking of something worse than that.
