See my post above. Like it or not there's a huge market for political culture wars on the right. There's also a market for it on the left, but I believe that it's much smaller. (If you're going to look in terms of web presence, Daily Kos, no. Fire Dog Lake, yes.)

Bachmann plays very well fighting said culture wars. In short, all she has to do is piss me off and people are getting their money worth for it.

I'd vote for her after Zombie Lincoln refused to be drafted into office.

Yes, I would utilize necromancy to restore his corpse in order to prevent her from getting Presidential office. But sadly, Lincoln is was too honest to run, and apparently everybody else on Earth has been disqualified.

I can picture her getting the nomination, but I can't picture her winning enough swing voters to beat Obama. She's just too easy a target for caricature.

If she gets elected, I swear I'm gonna declare my bedroom a sovereign nation and organize a movement on Reddit to do the same. Then, there will be a collection of loosely connected teenage micronations from all over America to rise up against Michelle Bachman and install someone who isn't delusional as leader.

I really do hope the people that voted her in did it for the lulz.

Heck, if by some twist of cruel fate, like God was feeling particularly cruel in his humor and she somehow became president or vice president, I'd flee the country.

There are a number of recent FSTDT quotes that come from the mouth of Michele Bachmann. She's that bad.

Romney's saner than most, but he's being forced by the rank and file to disavow exactly those moderate positions that might let him win a general election.

Didn't read the article, but I agree. He wants a theocracy. And believes that the constitution can be rewritten easier than the bible and that science can be easily disregarded.

Mitt Romney is the only sane choice, and it makes me all the sadder to see him whore himself out to get the primary nomination...

I was very briefly pro-Gingrich when he actually lambasted the Paul Ryan plan. Too bad he had to pander to the base, losing that fake centrism AND having already lost the nomination.

Worse than that, he refuted his words, then called out anybody who called him out on his backpedaling.
