Darkwave is actually a very extensive genre with some pretty important subgenres as well. We should definitely write more about its history, notable bands and common tropes. The article doesn't really do it any justice, needs much work.

The list of bands has been expanded, but it looks like the description hasn't been. Is there anybody familiar with Dark Wave's tropes and history?
