Well I was thinking of making a webshow. Sort of like Nostalgia Critic for the shows the current generation grew up with. I started with a bunch of Nick shows at once.
Here's what I got.
(Said while Nickelodeon ads play) Ah Nick, Nick, Nick, (Said rapidly) Nick, Nick, Nick. What in the world happened to Nickelodeon? 1 of the channels that helped cause the golden age of TV animation is now a mess. While some of their shows go through the spectrum of decent to good most are bad. So let’s start with the Nicktoons.
(Rugrats theme plays) Ahh Rugrats… A cute and relatively harmless show about a bunch of babies doing… baby things. Despite any form of logic this show sold like diamonds. So they decided to make some movies! (Show posters to the first two movies) While I have to admit these films were good (Show Rugrats Gone Wild poster) well two of them the execs got stupid as time went on…
Hey guys remember how in Rugrats when they had adults watching the kids it was the ambiguously Jewish grandpa? (dodges badly animated tomato) Well near the end they threw in a (use picture of the character ) babysitter character. Who was she played by you ask? Amanda Bynes. (Pic of Bynes in Hairspray) Yes that chick from Hairspray. Now here’s the bigger question. WHY?! I wish I could say “I don’t know” I really do wish I could. I think I do though… It was for THE MONNNNEYYYY… Oh really no Tom and Jerry clip?! Sweet. Now to go back on subject I admit she wasn’t half-bad. Not as bad as some other cases of executives sticking their noses in.
(Cut back to me) Now guys I hate having to be here. (Me shaking head whispering) (Red text: 2 Hours Earlier) I won’t cover this. I won’t. (Back to me) Yeah… well it’s my self-imposed mission and I need to get this over with. Sigh… All Grown Up. (Show the title sequence as I talk) OK first I need to cover the history of how this… MONSTORSITY was made. Well Rugrats in 2004 had its 10th year anniversary. (birthday cake with a 10 candle on it) This 10 year special was an episode about the babies 10 years older. It was your average tween/teen sitcom…
OK that’s a little mean. It was decent at best. Of course this was watched for 2 factors. 1. Nick hyped it to hell. 2. IT WAS THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY YOU FOOLS! Due to this some dumb executive had this thought process.
(Cut back to me as the executives) “Harvey”: Hey look a lot people watched the special! HEY GUYS LET’S MAKE IT A TV SHOW!! “Smart Exec” Didn’t they watch it because it was the 10th anniversary of Rugrats? “Other dumb Exec” (Laugh Goofy Style) HYUCK YUCK YUCK! That’s silly. They obviously thought this was a great idea for a show! Let’s do it Harv! “Harvey ” YEAH!!!
