Playing this right now.
I've been skeptical of Kinect, but now this game makes me reconsider my opinion.

UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOII have an LCD monitor, but it's at 1280x1024; it's a good ratio for vertical shmups considering I can't turn it sideways, but for CoE I get massive letterboxing. ;A;
http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comThis could go in the photorealism thread as an example of how technological advancement doesn't preclude surrealism. I doubt even the visuals alone could have been made with the best of the previous generation's hardware.
Finished the last Archive tonight, after a failed attempt yesterday. Let's get away flyyyyyy away...
On the backlog: Make a serious attempt on Hope, score attack lulz, and maybe try Hard mode? Although from what I read all it does is double damage dealt to you; if that's the case, I'll pass.

http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comNote: you can play with a controller (or the Playstation Move), but it just plays like Rez that way. When you play with Kinect, it really becomes an experience. Seriously.
Jonah FalconMaybe I'll find a local friend with a bitchin' home theater system and Kinect and play at their place.
On another note, I fucking love Passion. The music, and the theme of human technology...I've played it more than any of the other stages.

http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comI almost cleared Passion [Hard-Controller], to the point where the boss had about 5% HP left, then a fucking purple gear hits me and takes off what little HP I had left. FML.

This game is the Spiritual Successor to Rez I really cannot explain it beyond stating that like its predecessor it's a on rails shooter with neat visual effects, and gameplay based off of music. It will use Kinect/Move controls. See for yourself
Also Kongregate is holding a contest for indie developers to make a music based game. Which is sponsored by this game. see Here
