Considering we have extensive entries for even more obscure games, I'm more than a little surprised that we have yet, as of this post, to have an entry on this series of point-and-click adventure games from Pendulo Studios.
I recently discovered the saga on Steam around the release of the company's newest title, The Next BIG Thing, so I bought all four of their games and as of today have played through the entire Runaway trilogy: A Road Adventure, The Dream Of The Turtle, and A Twist Of Fate. I feel that they were all done as well as any of Lucas Arts and Tell Tale's adventure games, what with the clever item-based puzzles, well-written and hilarious dialog (pop culture references and Lampshade Hanging abound!) and cast of quirky characters.
I'd make an entry for the series myself, but I wouldn't know the first thing about writing a good article, and I would have no clue where to begin listing and discussing all the tropes used within the trilogy...
Would anyone like to help me out? Surely there must be someone else here familiar with the Runaway saga!
