Well it's been a year, and I'm still sick of having to deal firmware updates and other bullshit involved with needing a digital receiver just to F-ing watch TV.
… But I now have a new understanding of the reasons of why analog TV had to go. Reasons other then forcing the consumer to switch to a new product that they weren't interesting it
I was watching an old 2012 episode of Extra Credits and it brought up the growing problem of Spectrum Crunch[1]
Simple put there is only a finite number of usable radiowave frequencies out there and keeping analog tv board casting along side digital signals was using up too much air space, Analog signals had to die make more room for mobile networks to live and grow.
