Hmm, can't tell, even if the script would be good, you can't know if the gameplay is good as well o-o
I am enthusiastic to find out what this'll be.
I'm always cautious about video games that have a writer or artist from outside video games working on them. Because it's very easy for the writer or artist's ideas to get smothered by the people who actually make the game. You know, like those first person shooters that interview marines and stuff to be accurate and then the game turns out to have no real idea on how combat in the real world works.
But still, ALAN MOORE! I won't say it's awesome, but it's certainly something. Can't wait for more info.
Chances are it'll either be good and thought-provoking, with a good mix of action and plot.
Or... he'll end up leaving the project because one or two little things were unable to go the way they want to, and he'll forever hate it regardless of how good or bad the end result is.
Or... he'll end up leaving the project because everything was meddled with, and everyone will end up hating it forever regardless of how good or bad the end result is.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Hmm, I don't know. Writing a good comic is way different from making a good game. I'm afraid this is going to be one of those 'cutscene, gameplay, cutscene, gameplay' switcheroos.
Of course he'll hate it in the end. This is Alan Moore!
Jonah FalconPlease don't tell me we're slipping into THAT stereotype again...
Besides, he's having a direct hand in this. Chances are very likely that he won't hate something that he's directly involved in.

^^ Experience says otherwise.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Alan Moore hating old stuff isn't a bad trait I think. It's just the writer's equavilent to what artists do all the time (I don't but I guess I'm not an artist ).
Hopefully the story is got across through overall tone rather than cutscenes. It could be one of those 'art' games, there's not many.
I'm not saying it's a bad trait as much as it's something I've come to expect from him. Though sometimes... for example, his reasons for disliking The Killing Joke... it does veer into there. At this point I just see it as a given that he'll hate it and judge the work on it's own merits instead.

This oughta be good, whatever it is.
