@Joey Usually when people tell jokes well, they don't make people cry.

Dickish for sure, but I'd rather the teacher didn't get fired. Teachers get fired if they so much as blink wrong these days.

Yeah, I've always wanted to be a teacher, but this is why I would never teach anything younger than High School. I have often been referred to as having no "filter".

College kids would fucking love me though. "Ok kids, for those of you old enough to drink, go to a bar tonight and order a Bin Laden. Two shots of something American with a splash of water."

I dunno. I'd find the waterboarding joke aggravating..but thats mostly because I have heard people around here say in all seriousness that osama's death proved waterboarding was a legitimate and perfectly okay thing to do.

I was referring more to the burial at sea than the waterboarding.

ah. right then. nevermind. Chalk it up to me being extra aggravated this week by overhearing stupid jokes from redneck professors like "maybe if we waterboard our students they'll perform better in class!"

Meh, I'm not really for or against waterboarding. I don't completely consider it torture since the only lasting possible damage is mental, not physical, and there are many things that can qualify as mental torture.

Anything from isolation, sensory deprivation, to leaving someone in a locked cell, surrounded by walls made of TV screens playing Rebecca Black's "Friday" on repeat at max volume.

I'm sure a broken TV and slit wrists from the shards would be involved.

My reasoning is that if Mc Cain is against something torture related, it's probably a good idea to take his word for it.
