I'm not familiar with the work, but it's just a picture of a cow like thing that literally has a "Last of its kind" label above it. Is there a chance a better image could be chosen?

Possibly. A Superman comic strip might work, but I just think the current image is really bad.

I've come up with something... a little more indicative... though like other users I'm not sure how picturable this concept even is. Oh, and my example is a subversion.
