No. As long as the transitions are smooth and the reader can follow, than it should be no problem.

For bonus points, make it so that the initial flashbacks are completely misleading without the context provided by the later ones.

I have a story where about half of it is flashbacks. The flashbacks are almost entirely in order, except that the two earliest flashbacks both appear in the story after the third-earliest flashback.
Is this a problem?
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...
