First, and more importantly: damn that sucks. Can't imagine what I'd be like if I went through a loss like that... you have my condolences. Take all the time you need.
Secondly, and less importantly, when you get a chance, Imes also spoke to Henry a bit about his argument with Wolf.

Neither could I. In a way I still can't. Like there's this anthropological part of me that's so used to observing sorrows from the outside, I'm now looking at my own life like it's someone else's story. But enough about that.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I addressed that, with Imes referred to as 'the well-intentioned stranger' or thereabouts. Henry just wasn't very receptive at the moment, sorry if that got a little lost in the mix. I wrote it as 'Imes' at first, but I don't think either Henry or Joseph caught his name, and I figured I should be consistent. Easier said than done when trying to keep track of several strangers. I guess I could have reached for a more distinguishing characteristic than 'well-intentioned'.
the color todayGeez, I'm sorry. :c
Realized partway through writing that latest post that Adrienne's story very quickly became about someone else entirely, buuut it also feels pretty in-character for her to do that at the expense of herself. A bit of 'letting the character take over', I suppose.
Yeah, I saw that now — a good night's rest made me a more thorough reader.
My heartfelt condolences, Ryuhza. Loss of close family is never easy.
Edit. So Imes is the "well-intentioned stranger", as opposed to Wolf... the "shouty stranger"
It's late at night, here, I'll post something tomorrow, I hope.
Edit edit. So much for getting any writing done. Apologies. I'm getting some holidays in the next few days, so hopefully that'll have me more awake and creative.

There's the diner for now. I might be able to get basement dwelling Joseph sometime tomorrow. If not, then besides a plane trip or two, I'm off to Denver until Saturday, and I anticipate some decompression time after.
So sorry if I miss it, Masterofchaos. And myself, 'cause I know it's going to pick at the back of my brain until its done. Usually that's fuel, but sometimes you just don't have the spark.
Things are going to get better somehow.
the color todayPlease take your time, I don't mind waiting. Your mental health and safety is more important than some roleplay thread.
Take care of yourself, okay? I'm an inbox away if you need to talk.
I'm so sorry, Ryuzha. Take all the time you need.
EDIT: I've made a new post in CAII. Sorry for the long delay.

By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants.Deleted because wrong thread

I discover my own destiny as I command the winds of life! This is indeed the wrong thread for that, sorry. It's a discussion thread for this RP thread!
(that said, you are welcome to drop them in as a character if you think it would help you work things out, and are willing to read through the thread up to now and look over the linked sandbox page to catch up—there's at least one open plot thread going with a character of mine, Kay)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm up on both Sigmund and Imes/Iveya, right?
Sigmund, at least.
Will get to posting tomorrow. Sorry for the wait, Strix; busy week.

Turn order had been: Henry + Joseph, Wolf, Ultra + Lancer, Imes + Iveya + Aseyu, Bonnie.
Since Henry, Joseph and Wolf have had their turn and Lancer and Aseyu have wandered off, unless Ultra's going to interact with Joseph now the drama's passed, it's probably Iveya and Imes' turn.
Ultra might pipe up soon, but that's going to be after the next Imes/Iveya post, I think. Hasn't been much for her to meaningfully say or do during the whole chaotic scene—not without ditching Joseph as per her internal monologue—hence her kind of shrinking back and checking out.

So, I'm trying to revamp one the villains in my story.
He's The Dragon, an assassin who specializes in hunting psions (which is what the MC and deuteragonist both happen to be.)
Obviously, I want him to be creepy and intimidating, without overdoing. He's a silent assassin.
I initially envisioned him being a hulking juggernaut in power armor and equipment that counters the abilities of psions. I worry though, this might too boring and cliche.
My other idea for him is to base him on a ninja, where his creepiness relies more on stealth and never knowing where he's hiding.
Which version do you like more.
Not that kind of thread, friend.
Ah, sorry. My bad. Ignore my post then.
Though as I said above, we're not exactly turning people away if they went to join the RP!
Sorry for the wait, Masterofchaos. It was mostly dissatisfaction with the writing that more time wasn't helping with. Eh, what can you do?
the color todaySince I can't draw/paint anywhere near as well as some of the people here, I've been working on improving my modelling in HeroForge.
Here's my improved and updated pic of Wolf...

Nice!!!
Will post tomorrow; been a busy week.
Just getting the "pocket" on the vest required over an hour's work - then I realised I had got the scale of the model wrong and it took two other lengthy attempts to fix it up - can't wait for the kitbashing update that'll allow me to just slap pouches anywhere I want and make them look like pockets.
I cheated with the pins and the bone-carving - edited them into the pic.
Oh.
Once again, you have my deepest sympathies.
