Vat meat is ideal, but back on topic. What affects would atheism have on someone that would make their behavior different than any one else?

What you call a conservative is merely a liberal whose liberalism has ceased to be morally fashionable. The fashionable classes change their morals as they change the cut of their trousers, and not everyone keeps up.
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardWell, I would propose that since most atheists were raised religious and made a conscious, difficult decision to renounce their faith, they might have stronger opinions on certain topics than religious people, who usually just went with what they were taught as a kid.
@Rott: Why do you believe that society changing its morals from generation to generation is frivolous or wrong? Changing of moral "fashions" is what brought the end of slavery. And before you tell me that the Bible didn't approve of slavery and society would be perfect if we hadn't deviated from Christian ethics, here you go.
