i say go for it.
I think we could shorten it by quite a bit.
Fight smart, not fair. This might be the only time I ever contribute to an anime discussion, but maybe shorten the warning (the chocolate milk and anti-depressants line is rather cringe worthy) and convert it to the code you can only see when editing?
This is probably one of the most polarizing animes ever the amount of hate it gets is stupid leave the warning.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!We just had people complaining about Fan Dumb people doing stupid things because of this anime a couple weeks ago in Ask The Tropers.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMan, just when I thought it was safe I have to put it back in.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimThe least we could do is comment it out, so that only editors have to see it.
Rhymes with "Protracted."I dont think anyone would actually read it like that.
And have you looked at the edits lately? There is tons of the unproven rumors, Justifing Edits, natter, and so on. The warning isnt as effective as I would of hoped but its probably keeping a lot worse away.
The YMMV will give ya a taste of what could be Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny (The Contested Sequel entry on the tropes page as well.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I hid the announcement because it looked bad. Most people who read the wiki are not editors. If a problem with the page continues I think we should lock it.
Now, I'm all for chocolate milk but do we still need this? It has been quite a while now, do you guys think we could remove the big "Stop Whining About The Show!" banner now? None of the other pages need one, and it's rather intrusive. I think people have used up all their rage at the show that any inappropriate edits can be spotted and removed quickly.
I asked about this in the discussion page a month ago but got no replies. Given that the previous discussion was all about what prompted the disclaimer in the first place and it was from last year the lack of attention might be a good thing, shows people are over it, but I wanted to make sure.
