Is it just me, or did the film seem to lack any big SFX setpieces? I mean, there was the finale, but the effects were used to depict a real life rocket, but nothing really fantastical, like a giant cockroach or a shapeshifting worm. Not complaining or anything (okay, maybe a little), but it seemed to be missing that major piece of what made the first two films so appealing.

A fistful of me.Great film with pretty bad trailers.
I admittedly watched the first one the night before watching this (heard the second was crap and worth skipping). It does an incredible job of remaining both unique while retaining the feel of the 1st one, as a Mi B film, which is great.
I personally think it deserves more than Critics are giving it.
8.8/10

Can someone please murder Pitbull, that bastard is everywhere...
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.To rephrase, the only major problem I had with the film was that Boris never got a chance to show off his real alien form. In fact, he dies just as he's in the process of revealing it. I think the finale on the rocket platform would have been so much cooler if the two Borises (Bori?) was fighting Jay and Kay as a pair of giant alien monsters.

A fistful of me.Oh, and the posters for the film are badass, especially the ones with optical illusions.
And the title theme was just all kinds of "badass but actually very facetious underneath", sort of like intentional narm...
To me, nothing will EVER beat the main theme for the first movie though.
anybody knows song at the end of first trailer?
The time machine seems to run on serious Timey-Wimey Ball logic. Particularly when Agent J used the machine to predict Boris' spike shots and counter him; wouldn't that just create two Agent J's?
Also, I rather liked that the aliens in the past looked like humans wearing rubber alien costumes. That was a nice touch.
I was generally impressed with the movie. It was on the level of the first movie or even better...
It was fun, Brolin was a very good K, and that ending almost had me tearing up to be honest. The ending got me because I had just finished watching the First Movie two weeks before. Man good way to end the series if they are....hopefully they are.
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92Saw it. Did not suck. Griffin as a character definitely interested me.
Read my stories!I almost thought that Dyed Tommy Lee Jones' hair black to play younger K. It was perfect.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I guess what stopped us from having a big monster fight at the end was that the whole thing happened during the Moon Launch and MIB had no very good deneurolizer tech back then, so having two giant aliens during such event would have caused tons of fridge logic.
The movie was more "human" than the past ones. Less action and more story. For some that's a good thing, for some not that much. But I liked it.
Plus they blew most of the budget on the time travel and rocket launch scenes. But that works as an in-universe reason.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great
The Time Jump sequence was pretty great, what with everything going back to prehistoric times, and then advancing until the 1960's. When he read "wall street crash" and looked to his side, seeing a few bankers jumping, that was pretty awesome.
