Felt like posting this.
Someone posted the actual Japanese opening.
I wonder what the context of the clip with Darwin, Penny, and some dog synchronized swimming is.
Love the whole video game thing they did with it!
I want an Amazing World of Gumball video game now... Also, did that video remind anyone else of Earthbound?
"The Club" was alright, but the only parts I thought were really funny were the ones with Nicole and Gumball's "Swan Dive of Eternal Beauty". The "Gumball, you suck" thing was going to the point of being depressing instead of funny, especially since he's suddenly a bigger loser than Richard of all people. Naked Gumball is officially a Running Gag.
EDIT: Actually, I also got a laugh at Leslie (the flower) wearing a speedo on his pot. And the end of it, I thought the Wattersons were being pretty vindictive, then I realized the Reject Club asked to be dumped at the mall naked instead of their parents finding out what they did.

I watched a few Gumball episodes, and it makes me miss Chowder even more. I quickly got tired of Gumball, though.
Oh yeah, looks like we have another hiatus, for at least this week and the week after that.
Show's finally back.
I thought the parts with the Robinsons were funny, but basing a whole episode around that inevitably wore really thin.
At least four new episodes aired in other countries, and I've been able to find three of them online. I can't link them because of new board policies, but they're not that hard to find: "The Meddler", "The Curse", and "The Fight" were the ones I saw while "The Helmet" is the one I didn't.
In particular, I loved the end of "The Curse".

If you search for Japanese Gumball on You Tube, there will be a promo. Junko Takeuchi (Naruto) is the Japanese voice of Gumball. If the comments are to be trusted.
Magic people, voodoo people!Again, I don't see any citations or anything.
Yeah,hi. I'm new here and watched the show since the pilot, and I just have to say since then to now, the show is like a 5-yr old child. Not as cute when first born. The comedy is now lackluster and it ends up feeling like a less than ammusing clone of "Regular show". They have a whole season left to do better, but i'm not betting much else.
As of tonight's episode, I saw far too much rule 34/rule 63 bait. As of Gumball crossdressing & Gumball's panty shot not saying it's bad, but... : POKER FACE : And also the shower scene.
Also, did anyone else fell the creator was giving a brony shout out in some scenes?

I will say that I like Regular Show better, but it's not really fair to compare them. I mean, how do you compete with a show that has Australian, Arm-wrestling Champ Grim Reaper?

I question how it could be a clone of Regular Show considering most of these episodes were written before Regular Show even started airing. Besides being weird humor shows I don't see much in common between them either.
On a mostly unrelated note: I wonder if this got someone fired (just a TV guide typo, but a potentially NSFW one). It just so happened to be for an episode called "The Sock". What are the odds?

Simple. Make a gross monster from "The microwave" episode which has no soul to murder Death. Your input is now invalid.
As I do agree, both shows don't have much in common(besides both being complete acid trips of awesome or the main heroes both being blue and having a hard love relationship), they both have the potential to crossover and it would make sense. Bocolette has the ability to be the new J.G Quintel if he wanted to. Still, I see your point.
Whenever I offer my daughter a banana, sometimes I find myself going "Ba-na-naa-naaaa-ba-na-na-naaa-na-naaaaa" etc.
Times Like This ... A Comedy of Eras.^ The Banana Dance made me laugh a lot more than it probably would've, since my friends and I already had a "Banana Song" gag like that going (from our own playthrough of Donkey Kong Country Returns).
As soon as I saw it, I turned to my buddy and was like "I think we've been beaten."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. This is the Japanese clip that I wanted to show earlier! Oh my goodness! Naruto!
Magic people, voodoo people! When you posted about that last time, I went on a crazy binge of watching promos for Gumball in different languages.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!That's got to be the first time I've ever seen something where the Japanese voices and the English voices actually sound similar (in terms of tone and such).

You can tell by his voice that his actor's is getting older.

The show is getting a DVD release. Unfortunately, it's not the whole season, just 12 quarter-hour episodes (1/3 of the first season).
New season starts three weeks from today. Here's one clip and another.
One of my favorite things about Gumball is how he can pinball between dumb and sensible, even at the same time or during the same episode. The first clip is a really good example.
Also, I really hope they start using the full theme. I like that theme.

Funnily enough, for the first few episodes of the Latin American dub, Gumball also had the voice of the actress who dubs Naruto (he's been since voiced by the same actor who dubs Finn in Adventure Time).
