Knowing there's more Hando and Embo on the way makes me giddy. Those two, alongside Cad Bane (in spite of the faults in some of the episodes he's been in) have become among my favorite characters from Star Wars. grin

That was pretty damn awesome. I'm glad that Darth Sidious isn't just a hologram this time. I can see a Maul vs. Sidious battle coming up.

Saw the trailer on TV (yes, I am not much of a online trailer watching), and though it seems to take a few months(?) after the events of the witch massacre, I was hoping to see some more outfit and design changes. Like Aso's horns and tails growing a bit more.

Some information revealed about Darth Maul's role in Season 5, as well as a possible plot point revealed.

Also regarding the Shadow Conspiracy book, I heard something about a leak of some of the book's pages, and how it may be the same storyline as Season 5. I'm personally going to take it as a grain of salt for now, even if some things mentioned seem to make sense. I won't post anything just because of the possibility of it being real.

[up] I've read some of the book leaks but I'm not taking them as 100 percent fact. There could be a lot of differences between the book version of the arc and the TV version of the arc.

In other news, looks like we'll be seeing more Clone Commandos this season.

Hello! I just ordered the movie and first season of the show on Amazon. The movie will be here on Tuesday, but the show is backordered, so I'll have to wait a while for that. Anyway, I'll post my impressions here as I watch.

I've seen about a third of the movie (the first third, for what it's worth), and up to the episode "Lair of Grievous" when the show first started. But it changed networks around that time, and the new timeslot was inconvenient for me, so I stopped watching. But I liked the show, and have followed its progress since then. Just to cover my background with the series.

Anyway, to actually discuss things (and I'm glad someone brought up Rahm Kota), I wonder if we'll see some of the other Force Unleashed characters show up. Maris Brood should be a Padawan somewhere, Kazdan Paratus is still a Jedi, and Kento Marek is either still in the Order, or living on Kashyyyk, to name just a few.

Personally, I'm surprised they didn't use some of the more obscure older bounty hunters in some of the episodes instead of completely making up new ones or using hunters from the original trilogy. Some of their appearances make me wonder if the only reason Boba's the best hunter in the galaxy during the original trilogy is because he's not the only one who's well past his prime.

Though maybe I'm just the only one who remembers Gorm the Dissolver. He certainly would have fit better in that one episode than Dengar did.

Bossk has shown up, hasn't he?

[up] Yes, Bossk is in the series.

Also, I hope you enjoy the series. My advice is to not judge the series by the pilot movie, which is pretty dumb overall. The first season is also a bit kiddy but the show progressively gets darker, the action gets better, and the animation becomes more fluid. Though there are some episodes you should probably skip

For Season 1, you should skip "Downfall of a Droid", "Duel of the Droids", "Blue Shadow Virus", and "Mystery of a Thousand Moons".

For Season 2, skip "Senate Murders", and "R2 Come Home".

For Season 3, skip "Sphere of Influene", "Assassin", "Pursuit of Peace", and especially "Evil Plans". You can skip "Corrution" and "The Academy" because they're both terrible episodes yet at the same time, important to the Mandalorian plotline.

For Season 4, skip "Shadow Warrior", "Mercy Mission", and "Nomad Droids".

As I said, I've seen about half of the first season, and quite liked it. And I liked what I saw of the movie, too, actually. The only reason I didn't finish it was computer problems. It helps that I can view it as part of the show, rather than as a singular movie.

Just so everyone knows what my mindset is going in, I'm sort of an atypical Star Wars fan. For starters, I actually like all of the movies. Yes, even the prequels. tongue While I'm familiar with some stuff from the EU, I haven't read any of the books and stuff. For an example, I could recognize and name Aurra Sing before she started appearing on the show, but I didn't (and still don't, really) know anything about her. The only C level source I have real experience of is The Force Unleashed.

And when I'm watching something, I don't skip episodes. One of my personal rules.

[up]I have the same mind set actually. I love the movies abnd this series, but I'm not too familiar with the EU.

[up][up]Oh man, Evil Plans. I actually disliked that and Hunt for Zirro less than the wave of political heavy episodes (though I didn't mind the one with Lux actually). Both were just... weird (heck, they even admitted it in the DVD extras).

Anyway, I might as well add to my introduction by adding my favourite episodes.

Season 1: Tresspass, Hostage Crisis.

Season 2: Legacy of Terror, Brain Invaders, The Mandalore Plot, Voyage of Temptation.

Season 3: The whole Mortis arc, followed by the Citadel arc.

Season 4: The whole Umbara Arc (but especially carnage of Krell), A Friend in Need, Massacre, Bounty, Revenge (with that and Krell being my very favourites of the season).

[up][up] At least make an exception with "Evil Plans".

[up] I actually liked "Hunt for Ziro" even if it was a bit weird. Also, speaking of episodes I like, my favorite ones are:

Season 1 - "Ambush", "Rookies", "Lair of Grievous", the whole Hondo Ohnaka duology, "Trespass", "The Hidden Enemy", and "Hostage Crisis".

Season 2 - The entire Holocron trilogy, "Landing at Point Rain", "Legacy of Terror", "The Deserter", the whole Mandalorian trilogy and "Bounty Hunters".

Season 3 - "ARC Troopers", "Hunt for Ziro", the whole Nightsisters trilogy and the whole Citadel trilogy.

Season 4 - "Prisoners", the entire Umbaran arc, "Deception", "Friends and Enemies", "Crisis on Naboo", "Massacre", and "Revenge".

Sup guys? I'm new round these parts. I'm a big fan of TCW. The show gets better every season IMO. "Hunt For Ziro" is a good episode. With my favorite episodes are definately "The Deserter", "Innocence of Ryloth", The entire Umbara arc, "ARC Troopers", "Rookies", "Jedi Crash", and "Mercy Mission". If you can't tell I love the clones. =b

[up] "Mercy Mission" was quite an underrated episode. So was "Droid Nomads", though the only reason people seemed to dislike THAT episode was because it came after "Mercy Mission". You can't have two comedic droid-centric episodes in a row and expect people to NOT get tired of it

@Stevron, agree with you one Mercy Mission. I thought that was the funniest episode to date and laughed through the episode.

You know, after seeing that Embo chase scene, I think the upcoming Padme-centric arc might actually be good. I mean, it could at least be better than all the other Padme episodes to date so far.

Just finished the movie.

Overall, I'd say it's a very good start to the series, though it shouldn't have been released theatrically. The animation is a touch better than I remember Season One being though, which I suppose can make up for it. It's not like I paid to see it in the theatre anyway. tongue

After watching "Cat and Mouse" from Season 2, I can't help but feel that that episode plus "The Hidden Enemy" plus just the Battle of Christophsis with Ahsoka entered at the end might have been a better introduction.
