Wasn't Vengence the console released one that drastically reduced the number of players at once (read:Tribe's main selling point)?

I only know of one Starsiege Tribes game on consoles, and that's Tribes: Aerial Assault on PS 2.
Tribes: Vengeance is a PC-only release based on UnrealEngine2, but it's apparently a prequel to the earlier games story-wise. (Speaking of which, there's an actual singleplayer campaign this time!) However, it never did get the following of either of its predecessors...
