Inspirational biographies of writers:

Hi,

I just stumbled upon the Wikipedia page for the Dresden Files, and gooodness gracious, did Mr Butcher have stamina... writing for years on a second novel, while the first one is getting rejected time and again!

And it sure paid out for him! (courtesy link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dresden_Files#Publishing_history)

So, what other stories do we have that might inspire us aspiring writers to Keep Up The Good Work?

All right, let's get the cliches out of the way: Stephen King and Carrie or whatever; Sylvester Stallone and Rocky.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
